Chapter 23

Yeon Ah's POV

I couldn't sleep so was on my phone. I texted Soo Ji earlier and she told me something really important.

A few days ago was Jimin's birthday.

I feel so bad, I didn't even wish him happy birthday.

I decided to tell him tomorrow and buy him something later.

I was in my own thoughts when Jimin texted me. He wanted to tell me something and told me to go out.

What does he want to tell me?

I got up carefully, put a jacket on and went to this morning's place.

When I was almost there, I saw Jimin. I approached him as he was staring at me.

"Yaah.. Why did you call me out?"

He continued to stare at me.

I was about to complain about his silence.

"Do you love me?" He suddenly asked.

He really caught me offguard with this question.

I immediately turned red and looked down.

"Y-yah why are you asking this I-"

"Because I do." He cut me.

Because he does? Wait. Wowowow. He does love himself or.. He loves me?

My heart was beating so fast I can almost swear that Jimin heard it.

"You..what?" I asked him trying to hide my happiness.

"I do. I love you, Lee Yeon Ah."

I opened my mouth to say something but.. nothing came out.

"I know that's sudden but I really do. I know I used to hurt you before but I'm hating myself for that. You put the smile on my face like the sunshine. I don't think I can live without you.. So Lee Yeon Ah, will you be my girlfriend?"

I couldn't help it anymore and smiled.

I nodded while blushing and looked at him in the eyes.

He looked so happy. His eyes were shining.

We went to each other and hugged.

''Happy Birthday.'' I whispered in his ear.

He was surprised so looked at me curiously.

''I know I'm late but still. I didn't know, you can't blame me.''

''Thanks. You're the best birthday present.''

AHHHH

He's being cheesy right now I can't.

It was getting late so we went back to the tents holding hands.

Before entering, we bid goodnight.

Jimin's POV

I just confessed. Holy cow.

I wasn't wasn't even expecting her.. to accept me.

You don't know how happy I am right now.

Yeon Ah's POV

As I went in my tent, I wanted to scream of happiness so badly.

Jimin just confessed to me. I just accepted and we're now dating.

Wow. So many things happened in half an hour.

I can't believe that Jimin likes me. Wow. I'm in a shock.
