The Alphas had made it to the same spot at the same time. Each coming from either side of the forest, tracing their own path.

Thrift howled when he saw his other mates and they responded and began to approach each other when another wolf, the most beautiful they have ever seen landed on a small rock with the wings held up high and just then it connected.

The strange feeling.
