Chapter 31 (You are invited)

8 months later.

Tendou is walking back and forth inside his room, his hands are fidgeting and seems like he can't calm down.

The day is here. The day that they've been waiting for. Their wedding day. Everybody is excited except for Tendou, because he can't really explain his feelings. He's excited and nervous at the same time that all he want to do is run away.

He looked in front of the mirror. He already finished his own preparations, he is wearing a two piece white tuxedo paired with white shoes and a white bow tie.

"Son." His father called as he entered the room.

"Dad. Dad is my outfit okay? Do I look okay?Dad. I'm nervous."

His father looked at him and smiled. "You look great son, you look great." he said and fixed Tendou's bow tie.

"I'm so happy for you Satori." He then pulled Tendou in a hug. "I'm so happy that you finally found the person you're going to spend with your life."

Tendoh can hear his father's soft sob and smiled. He tapped his father's back. "Thanks dad."

His father let go from the hug and wiped his eyes and chuckled. "I'm getting emotional."

Meanwhile Ushijima is inside his own room, staring in front of the mirror. He saw his dad standing behind him and he turned around.

"You're finally going to marry Satori." Utsui, Ushijima's father said with a grin.

"Yes dad." He said and smiled. "Thank you. Thank you for supporting us."

"I've been rooting for your love since the start Wakatoshi and I'm happy that you will finally tie the knot today." Utsui said and pat Ushijima's shoulder and pulled him into a hug.

Their wedding is held at a well-known chapel in California. They only invited their families and their closest friends. Iwaizumi couple are also invited to the wedding. Everyone is already inside the venue, sitting on their seats. Ushijima is already standing in front of the altar waiting for his groom, and then he saw him. The wedding song started playing and everyone's attention is at the door.

When Ushijima saw Tendou walking together with his father towards the altar he can't help but tear up as he watched. He's look so handsome wearing that white tuxedo. I'm finally marrying him.

Tendou is already wiping his face off because he's been crying as he walked towards Ushijima, the love of his life. When he finally got in front of the altar, his father hugged him and also shook hands with Ushijima.

Ushijima extends his hand and hold Tendou. He smiled and leaned forward. "You look so gorgeous in your tuxedo cinnamon." he whispered.

"Same to you cupcake. You look hot, as always."Tendou whispered. He already calmed himself.

The ceremony started with a few words from the officiant and readings from their family. Then it's time that they exchange vows.

Ushijima's the first one who's going to say his vow. He tightened his hold on the mic and took a deep breathe.

"Every moment I spend with you reminds me on how lucky I am to have you. You are my partner ever since we're in high school, you are my best friend, the love of my life. Satori, I promise you that I will give you all my support. I promise that I will be forever by your side through good and bad times. I promise to cherish and love you now and forever Satori. " Ushijima finished his vows and then he slip the ring on Tendou's finger.

Tendou calmed himself before he started talking. "Our relationship started rough, I know that we will still have more hardships to face but as long as we're together I know we can get pass through it." Tendou's voice started to crack as he continued his vow.

"Wakatoshi-kun, I have always dreamed of this day, and I am so happy that it's finally happening. I vow that I will never leave your side whatever happens. I vow to laugh and cry with you. I vow to support you. I vow to learn and grow together with you. Wakatoshi-kun, rain or shine, on good days or bad days. I'll forever love you. I'm so lucky that you're mine."Tendou smiled and slip the ring on Ushijima's finger.

Ushijima also smiled and wiped the tears on Tendou's face. Both of their dads are already crying, the other guests are also on the verge of crying.

The officiant smiled. "By the power vested in me, by the state of California and in the presence, love, and support of your family and friends. I now prounce you a married couple. You may now kiss the g----"

Everyone started laughing when Tendou suddenly pulled Ushijima into a kiss.

"---groom. " the officiant finished his sentence and chuckled.

Ushijima smiled into the kiss, he wrapped his arms around Tendou and pressed their lips together. Tendou is crying as he felt Ushijima's lips on him.

Everyone cheered and clapped as they witnessed the kiss that binds Ushijima and Tendou in this lifetime. Then they pulled away with smiles on their faces.

After they both signed their marriage certificate, they intertwined their fingers together and looked at everyone.

"It is my deepest honor to introduce, for the first time as a married couple. Mr. and Mr. Ushijima!"

Everybody started cheering and clapping once the officiant introduced them as a married couple.

Then they started walking , hand in hand as they are showered with different flower petals and when they are already outside of the chapel, Ushijima pulled Tendou into another kiss and the cheering never ended.

After the wedding ceremony everyone proceed to the reception hall.

Tendou and Ushijima are sitting on their chairs as they listened to the speech given by Utsui.

"All I want to say is that I'm happy that both of you are now a family. When you guys were still in high school I already knew that this will be your ending and I'm really glad that it happened. Satori, this may be our first meeting but I know how much you loved my son and thank you for that. I am always here, together with your friends to support you two. Congratulations and good luck on your life as wedded couple. "He smiled.

The next one to give a message is Tendou's dad.
"As everyone knows, my relationship with my son was not in good terms. We always fight with each other. When he came out to me, I never accepted him and that was the worst thing thay I ever did. Not accepting him." He looked at Tendou who's already about to cry. "But, when he left our house. Yes, he left without telling somebody where he went."

Goshiki heard it and accidentally chocked on his water. Miko looked at him with disbelief.

"I was able to realize things, I was able to realize that what I did was wrong. It took me years to apologize, and with Wakatoshi's help I was able to reconcile my relationship with my son. Thank you. Thank you for giving the love and care that Satori deserves. For accepting him. " He then looked at Tendou. "Son, I want you to know that I love you. I am proud of you and that I am so happy that you are with the person you're destined to be. Congratulations to the both of you."

Tendou stood up and went to hug his father, crying. "I love you too dad and thank you." he whispered. Tendou's dad wiped the tears on his face and smiled.

Then the next who gave the speech was Washijo, their coach during high school and then almost everyone in the team gave them congratulatory speaches too.

The newly wed did the toast, sliced the cake and danced. After the dinner, they went out and lighted a wish lantern.

"I love you Satori."

"I love you Wakatoshi-kun."

They said at the same time, and then they chuckled as they released the wish lantern into the air, as a symbol of their everlasting love with each other. When the lantern was already on the air, they once again shared a passionate kiss under the moon.
