Chapter Twenty Nine - Ancient Spirit

After all the great demons died, the entrance to the ancient prison became visible, it was located in the deepest trench of the ocean, guarded by sea monsters and sealed by five layers of energy, namely water, earth, fire, wood and last is spirit. Arthit must break through every energy level by destroying it using the power of a spirit dragon.

After all the energy was destroyed, some of veils appeared in the middle of the water, like when he left the illusory palace, he had to go through an invisible force that tried to destroy his spirit, even though he was protected by the power of the green jade pearl, but he was still badly injured.

Arthit must find his egg soon and return to the veil before it closed again.

He finally arrived in front of a room with a giant cage in the middle. A smile engraved on Arthit's face when he saw his egg in a cage. But the cage seemed to be protected by some kind of powerful ancient spell to prevent all demons or evil spirits from approaching.

Arthit tried to observe the spell on the wall for a moment and he was shocked by a black dragon who was sleeping in a cage and seemed to be guarding the egg.

He wondered if that was the true form of the Black Dragon Demon he had killed while in the illusory palace, he wondered how the demon could be trapped in this place while his spirit entered the body of the rat.

Arthit tried to approach the cage quietly without making any sound or movement so not to waking up the monster. He thought for a second before created the portal to enter the cage without problem and finally got the egg.

However, when he was about to go out through the portal, suddenly his body hit the lightning barrier and bounced back. He froze instantly and feel like there are thousands of needles were spreading across the nerves in his body, shocking him.

However, he kept hugging his egg tightly and tried to protect it.

After a while, the lightning effect finally worn off, Arthit took a deep breath to regain his consciousness while enduring the pain, then turned to glare at the black dragon.

"That is to pay your sin for have stolen my spirit!!!! I should have killed you for revenge!!!"

"You deserve it for had stolen my egg and let the gods seal it in this damned place for thousands of years?!!"

"I do not deny that, I have indeed stolen your egg and hid it, but I did not gave it to the gods..."

Arthit didn't believe it, so Khao didn't lie about a dragon stealing his eggs and hiding it in a cave.
