Chapter Four - The Mirror Portal

Sarawat quietly followed the female student who witnessed the real form of the monkey demon to her home. He was sure the demon would come looking for her again. Coincidentally he happened to know the female student who confessed to him some time ago.

Sarawat was lurking around the female student's house. As he had expected, a male student comes to visit. He immediately took out his mirror and directed it to the man, the reflection on the mirror showing the true form of the monkey spirit.

When the door opened, Sarawat suddenly appeared and put his arm around the male student's shoulder before he could step into the house. The male student was shocked as he recognized Sarawat and immediately pushed him roughly, then ran away.

Sarawat immediately excused himself and chased after the male student without wasting a time.

Meanwhile, not far from there, Arthit and Tine just walked out of a restaurant after dinner. They caught a glimpse of someone familiar running towards an old housing area. Both of them decided to follow after him.

Arthit and Tine were chasing the male student to the end of the deserted and dark alley, but unfortunately, the alley was a dead end, there was an old building blocking the way.

The student looked anxious and panicked. He looked up and studied the escape route for a moment, then turned into a monkey and was about to climb up.

Realizing that, Tine shortly threw a knife toward his hand while trying to reach the rock that stuck out of the wall, causing it to fall to the ground as trying to dodge.

"Who are you guys? What do you want from me?!" He growled at Tine and Arthit and launched an attack, but seemed like he was no match for both.

"Why did you attack the girl?" Arthit asked between the fights.

"None of your business!!!"

"You shouldn't have hurt people and shown them your true form if I were you..."

"I should have killed her!!!"

"Does she make you angry?" Tine chimed in.

"She wasn't only rejecting me, but she also compared me to that demon slayer guy and insulted me by calling me an ape!!!"

Tine and Arthit dodged the attacks and stopped, the two exchanged glances and tried not to laugh.

"Is that why you want to kill her?" Arthit asked in disbelief.

"Humans are arrogant and brainless creatures!!!" he said angrily. "I will teach them a lesson!!!"

"But, she says the truth, you are an ape..." Tine commented, he couldn't help himself and finally laughed.

The creature growled and attacked Tine with emotion. Tine tried to dodge, but unfortunately, the creature managed to grab his neck and strangled him strongly.

Seeing that Arthit immediately summoned his sword and slashed it toward the monkey's hand, making him release Tine immediately.

Suddenly the door to one of the houses in the alley opened and a middle-aged woman walked out. Arthit immediately hid his sword.

"OMG!!! W-who are you?!!" the woman exclaimed in shock seeing the terrifying creature in front of her eyes. "Are you human?!!"

Hearing that, the monkey immediately turned to look at her and growled, next he showed his sharp nails and ran towards the woman about to attack her. Realizing that, Arthit immediately shot in front of the woman and prepared to draw his sword.

At the same time, suddenly Sawarat appeared from behind him, and Arthit cancels his intentions. He pushed the woman backward, then brought his hands to cover his face, trying to dodge, however, the scratching could not be avoided. Fresh blood gushed out from the wound on his arm, seeing that, the middle-aged woman fainted instantly from shock.
