'Stottle, a word please?'. This matter needed resolving immediately. I had been putting it off but now was the time to speak to Izan about his behaviour - he was a decent human and it was time to put him out of his misery.

He sheepishly replied 'Ok.' and I guestured for him to follow me. I was taking him to my cabin so I could do it privately. It was nobodies business but Izan and mine. We arrived at my cabin and went inside, although Izan was slightly reluctant to be alone with me in a room.

I thought of how best to start it. 'Izan-' but before I could finish I was interupted.

'Wait!' That man's quick-to-react thinking was going to get him into a lot of trouble. 'Before you say anything, I need to explain. Please hear me out.'

'Ok' I allowed it. He paused for some time. 'Well?'

'So I will start by saying I am so sorry. I had no idea who you were and you surprised me. I DID NOT mean to kiss you, it was an impulse.'

'You didn't?' I questioned.

'No. I... I guess I was happy that we had started to sort out our problems and I got confused and it really could have been anyone, the hand holding didn't help either.'

'Ok, understood.' I wasn't going to say anymore. He didn't mean it, that is all there is to it.

'So... Am I in trouble?'

'What? No. It was a mistake obviously, that is very clear. You have no need to worry, I am not going to take matters any furthur. Now we both must sleep.' I motion to the door and he gets the idea.

'Thank you for understanding, Bye.' He leaves. So that was the end of it.

I spend the rest of the trip ignoring him as much as possible. If we were to be alone together or try and have a conversation, who knows what may happen next. We finally made a sort of peace and neither of us would want to mess up again.
