Enlighten my dark soul

I'll hold these memories close to my heart
And I will reminisce
These days were what I needed-a restart
I'd love to keep this bliss.
I haven't felt this well in ages
Felt like I never would
I wrote over so many pages
Yet, this only one is good.
I'm glad that you're my friend
I'd walk with you through the flames
I'll offer you a helping hand
For more than silly games.
These sure were days to remember
I hope there will be more
