Emilia's POV

I really find driving peaceful it's just you and the radio blasting some tunes that you haven't heard before but find the tunes catchy I always take my car every Saturday on my way to work because afterwards I will go straight to my parents house and Joe insisted that I should always carpool with them on the weekdays so that I can save gas for the weekend. The sun is still currently hiding and it's 6 am I think it's going to rain again well as I said before no rain or rain right? I was on my way to work I always start early on a Saturday because I will be leaving at lunch time to go to my parents house it become a routine really for me to do this and I actually like it. Knowing Martha and Joe they always came late on Saturdays so it is just me inside the coffee shop for half the day.

I parked my car and got out wrapping my coat a little tighter on my body the cool breeze kissing my cheeks it's going to be a cold and long day.

As I entered the coffee shop I started to clean, sweep and mop the floor before really opening make sure that the pastry that Martha made is in the oven by now she made the dough and put them in a tray for me to put in the oven in the morning but in the weekdays she is the one who is doing the cooking. I was so focused on what I was doing that I didn't even notice my phone ringing

I looked at the caller ID and saw that it's my mom I smiled and picked it up

"hey mom I will be there at dinner time or even earlier" I said

"hey honey we just miss you so much you will be sleeping here yeah?" I bit my lip as I looked in the oven

"yeah I will I'm already packed anyway so after work I will be heading there I will bring some of Martha's new pastries" My mom really liked Martha's pastries well who wouldn't even my dad who doesn't really have a thing for something sweet fell in love with it too.

"of course, me and your father will be waiting and also your sister will be going home today ad it's not even a holiday i'm just so excited to be complete again" She said and I smiled too my little sister will be at home this will be fun I missed her since she is in college she decided to have a dorm and just go home every holiday's

"great I've got to go now mom see you and love you" I said and heard her say I love you on the other end I dropped the call and put my phone in my pocket and continue on with the day.

Martha and Joe arrived at 10 am in the morning Martha is in the kitchen right now making a new batch of muffins for me to bring to my parents house it started raining a while ago and it's a good thing I brought my umbrella but I left it in the car.

"So you should drive safe okay we want you back in one piece on Monday" Joe said and smiled at me hugged me

"Be safe honey here are the muffins tell your mom we said hello and we can't wait to meet them" Martha said hugging me I laughed at them and nod and said my goodbye's and went out wrap myself in my coat and run towards my car once I was safely inside I breathed and got out of the driveway this is going to be a long drive I opened the radio and bubbly by Colbie Caillat played and I sang along

'I've been awake for a while now got me feeling like a child now

Cause every time I see your bubbly face I get the tingles in a silly place
