Emilia's POV

It is the day where I will be moving in to Mark's house he is helping me to pack up my things and I can never be any happier than I am now. My mom was so happy that I am finally settling in with someone, someone that she knows my dad was okay with it and was very supportive about me moving. France was also hyped up and was so happy I haven't heard from Sam for awhile I know he us have been busy from running his father's company. Martha and Joe is also so happy about the news and still isn't allowing me to go to work even if I really want to

"Penny for your thoughts?" I heard mark say from the doorway of my room I looked at him and smiled

"Well, I just can't wait to settle in" A few days have passed Mark is an amazing person being patient with me and every single day he made me feel so special and loved not that I am saying that I don't feel loved but still he makes me smile every single day

"Need some help packing or are you ready to go we can always come back if you left something" He said lifting the last box of clothes I just packed I looked at him and grabbed the box from him and placed it on the bed and wrapped my arms around his neck

"Thank you for doing this for me, now dance with me" I said and he just laughed at me and sighed put his hands on my waist and we start to sway without the music

"You know I am not a fan of cheesy moments right but for you I will do it" I laughed and just hummed and I felt the steady beat of his heart that made me feel so warm and it is so comforting

"You know for a man who said that he isn't fan of cheesy moments or line, you are pretty cheesy to be honest" I looked up to him and saw that he has his eyes closed and his lips is formed into a smile

"How can you dance without music? It's awkward you know that" He let me go and I pouted and pull him back again

"You don't like my humming? Then let's change that" I said and put on a music on How deep is your love by bee gees blast through the phone speaker we laughed and again he placed his hands on my waist and start swaying with the music

"You know I really quite like this, this is so relaxing we should do this more often" he said and kissed the top of my head

We stayed like this for a while just basking in the moment of comfort and warmth we just held each other up until the song lasted and just you know live in the moment not minding the things that will be happening in the future, not thinking about Sam or someone who is trying to kill me

And it's me you need to show

After we put all my stuff inside his car we are off to go to his house the ride to his home is pretty quiet but the good kind of quiet it is nice and comforting. When we have arrived Mark immediately unload all my stuff as I went inside I sighed and I can't help but feel safe, protected.

"So I know I just ask you to move in with me but I made sure to tidy up the extra room for you to stay in if you want some separate rooms" He said and I smiled at him

"Thank you for going through all that trouble and you know being patient with me, for waiting really" I said and sat on the couch making myself feel at home

"well you can fix your things later we can eat now if you like? I can prepare something if you would like" He said and went to the kitchen

"Can I help? I can be really helpful in the kitchen I can make desserts" I said while rummaging through the cabinets

"Yes please I will be lost without you" He said and set up everything that we will be needing for cooking

"hmm, you really sure you don't like cheesy moments?" I said and laughed "this will be going to be fun"

The night went by slowly and I am so happy than ever before and I am contented to where I am now I might be confused with my feelings before but I was never been so sure in my life I wanted to be like this always without any problems

"so how are you feeling? Feeling better than before?"

"I feel safer right now"

Then my phone began ringing and saw that Martha is calling me I told Mark I will be right back

"Hi Martha" I said smiling then I heard her sniffling on the other end

"oh daring it's Joe"

"What? What happened to Joe are you okay Martha?" I said

" He is in the hospital, we need you dear I need you"

I dropped the phone.

Hi loves, 

So here is chapter 16 I feel like a terrible person for doing this 2020 has been a pain in the ass but then again I really want to immerse in what I feel at the moment.

sorry for not updating and sorry for posting a short chapter right now I have been so full pack with things to do in universities been stress out lately but yeah I still keep going. always stay safe! will post next week again I promise and maybe a longer chapter?
