22 - Go

《Jai's P.O.V》

"Lily, you need to leave. Now." I turned around to completely face her. "What, why?" she confusingly looked me in the eyes. "It's for your own safety.

He knows we're together. Go home." I calmly stated, wiping away a tear that was making it's way down her cheek.

"I can't be alone at my house, he knows where I live." she started to panick while standing up. "Of course he does. I can't come with you, it makes him angry.

Don't worry, he won't hurt you. He might frigthen you but it's okay. He genuinely loves you and he will do whatever he can to protect you."

"But Jai-" "I'm sorry but you need to go." I breathed heavily, fearing for Lily's life. After sniffing, she looked up and nodded slightly, immediately leaving my room.

I ran close behind as she made her way to the front door. "Lily." I called, making her turn around. "I love you." I whimpered, cupping her cheeks and pushing my lips against her own. After pulling away, she just sadly looked into my eyes and turned around, leaving my house.

I sighed - not knowing if I was unhappy or relieved. I think I was both. Suddenly there was a smash heard in the guest bedroom that Lily and I were sleeping in.

Quickly racing to the bedroom, the person I expected was standing in the middle of the room - a devious smirk plastered across his face.

"Aw, you two are so cute!" He sarcastically laughed. "The thing is.." his eyes turned dark. "She said she loved me. And when you said you loved her, she rejected you." he chuckled lowly. I closed my eyes tigthly. Don't listen to him.

Opening my eyes, Luke was standing right in front of me - A little too close for comfort. "Am I scaring you?" he tilted his head, staring with his almost black eyes. "No." I snapped, getting sick of this. "Oh okay, let me just go to the love of my life." he grinned, showing bloody teeth.

He walked over to the window and before climbing out, he slowly turned his head to me. "And fuck her brains out." That's it. I stormed towards him and pinned him against the wall. "You need to get your fucking head straight!" I slapped him across the face.

"Excuse me?" Luke didn't seem fased by the blow. I leaned in closer, staring angrily into his eyes. "You need to leave her the fuck alone!" I growled. "I never knew you were gay." Luke smirked, gripping my waist with his hands.

"Get your hands off me!" I backed away but Luke pulled me back in. "Listen Jai." he growled into my ear. Being a bit frightened by his strength, I stayed still. "Lily is mine." I felt his hot breath across my neck. I pulled my face away just a bit, not sure what to say to him.

"Do you like standing this close to me?" he fake-moaned, squeezing my waist tighter. Don't listen to him, he's trying to mess with you. "You're sick, you need help!" I wrapped my hands around his neck. "Oooh kinky." he winked, licking his lips.

"You are bonkers!" I kneed his stomach, making him loosen his grip on my waist, letting me back away. "You think I'm crazy?" Luke questioned, his eyes turning back to his usual hazel colour. "I do! Get the fuck out!" I yelled, pointing towards the window beside him.

"One last thing." Luke whispered, walking towards me. I flinched as he wrapped his arms around me. He's faking it, don't buy it. "What are you doing?" I impatiently tried to push him away. "Can't I just hug my own brother?" Luke innocently asked as he pulled away.

"Uh. well, I suppose-" "Then hug me." he blankly ordered. I hesitated. Don't do it. I stepped forward, Luke still standing still, staring into my eyes. Getting closer, he started to breathe more heavily. Suddenly my cheeks were cupped with his hands and I felt his lips on my own, his hands all of my waist.

"Ew what the fuck!" I pulled away. "I thought that's what you wanted." Luke dug his toe into the carpet. "Enough with your bullshit! Get out!" I shouted, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. "Very well." Luke turned around and climbed out of the window.

I sat on the edge of my bed. I have to tell Lily that Luke is on his way. I dug in my pocket for my phone but it wasn't there. "That fucking asshole!" I screamed, tugging at my hair as I stood up. That's why he kissed me, to get my fucking phone.

I thought he was just being his weird self. "Oi! Watch your language." I turned around to see my mother in her night-gown standing at the doorway. "Sorry mum." I quickly apologised, grabbing my clothes and heading out of the bedroom.

Lily's P.O.V

I sat on the couch, twiddling my thumbs as I watched the news. Picking up my coffee, I brought it up to my lips and took a slow sip before setting the mug down on the coffee table again.

"Luke Brooks. A 19 year old has escaped the Melbourne Mental Instution last night, apparently going on a killing spree. What you are about to see is horrifying and inhumane, viewer discretion is advised." The news reporter said. "Roll the security footage."

I wanted to turn the TV off but part of me wanted to keep watching.

"As you can see from these few clips we could find, every single dead body's face was either cut up or cut off completey. Also looking at some more people, the ears and noses look somewhat bitten off."

I brought my hand up and covered my mouth. This is disgusting! I quickly grabbed the remote and switched off the TV and suddenly saw the reflection of a man on the screen. I quickly turned around to have my eyes met with Luke's. I just have to keep calm. Jai told me he won't hurt me but he might frighten me.

"Stop thinking about what Jai said to you." he whined. He quickly raced towards the couch and I couldn't help but yelp in fright. "I'm not going to hurt you. My flower. My Lily." he placed his hand on my shoulder.

I peeked up, being less scared for some reason in his presence. "Why did you kill all those innocent people?" I stood up, glancing to Luke's hands which were empty thankfully. "One of them was bound to hurt you." he whimpered.

"Why did you kill Madison, my only friend?!" I yelled, walking towards him, making him back away. "She was going to hurt you! She was going to, believe me!" he raised his hands up. "I helped you." he whispered.

"You're right." I smiled. "I'm proud of you." "Really?" his eyes lit up and he walked towards me. "Yes." I opened my arms and Luke dropped onto his knees infront of me, wrapping his arms around me. I just frowned, stroking his hair. (lol sorry for the Ahs murder house refrence)

I was the opposite of proud. He has ruined my whole life. Well, I spent two whole years signing up for this shit so this is what I get. "Go back to the institution Luke." he raised his head up to me and smiled, standing up.

"Anything for you." he leaned in to kiss me but I backed away a bit, preventing him from doing so. With a little whimper, he nodded, looking to the floor. "And I don't want to find you escaping today or tonight. I'll be there in less than two hours to counsil you." I smiled.

"Why do I need counseling, I'm not crazy." he frowned. "You're not. We just talk about what goes on in your life, just having convesations, isn't that what you want?" I asked.

"No one has ever loved me before." Luke smiled, before turning around and jumping out of the window. I've learned not to get scared, he's not plunging to his death. I felt a huge amount of weight being lifted off of my shoulders.

Suddenly there was loud banging heard at the door. I quickly ran and opened it to find Jai. "What are you doing here?" I whisper-shouted. "Luke took my phone, I needed to warn you that he's coming over." he panted, hunching over.

"He actually just left." I stated, smiling. "Oh." Jai frowned. "How the heck did he get your phone?" I questioned out of curiosity. "You don't wanna know." he chuckled, taking my hand in his own.
