Lily's POV

Sitting in my counselling room, twiddling my thumbs really does make time pass quickly.

Hour after hour.

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

(Wtf am i doing with my life)

The clock striked 6pm, Luke must've  been so hungry.

I bolted out of my leather chair and quickly made my way to Luke's cell without making too much noise because I didn't  want anyone else sticking their arms out of their cells.

I stood in front of his cell doors, observing him.

Huh, he was still sleeping.

"No, stop." I heard Luke mumble in his sleep.

"Please, I beg of you. Believe me I'm innocent!" He starts shouting, still sleeping.

Shit, he was going to bother the other patients so I quickly unlocked the door and ran to Luke and sit on my knees. His hair is sticking to his forehead with all of the sweating he's doing.

I took out a tissue and wiped his forehead and he twitched his eyes.

"Mum?" Luke innocently asked as he slowly opened his eyes.

Once he saw that I wasn't her, I felt like my heart shattered into millions of tiny pieces.

"Fuck off" he exclaimed.

"Uh, a-are you hungry?" I stuttered, trying not to make him upset.

He smirked, "Why are you stuttering, babe?" He started getting out of his bed.

I gulped as he walked towards me, stopping until our bodies are millimetres apart. I could feel body warmth radiating off of him.

He's only a bit taller but he can still literally look down on me which is what he did. I couldn't look him into the eyes, I just knew he was looking down on me as I was staring straight at his neck.

I started to shiver, it was cold and these suits don't keep me warm. I'm pretty sure Luke thought I was shivering out of fear which I guess I was as well.

He wrapped his arms around me.

He was warm but I didn't like this.

He swayed around, as if to rock a baby in his arms.

"No need to stutter babe, my baby." He whispered.

Holy shit, I swear this boy. I needed to get out of his arms and get him to the cafeteria.

I awkwardly clear my throat and he lets go.

"Uh, sorry" he said, scratching the back of his neck.

"So, are you hungry?" I asked much more confidently than before.

He just shrugged, so I took his wrist and led him out of the cell.

He got free of my grip on his wrist and oh god, I thought he was going to run but instead, he gestured to hold my hand. I ignored him and just wrapped my hand around his wrist again.

"Hold my hand." He commanded.

"No," I replied.

"Hold it!" He was getting pissed off.

"Listen baby you are going to do as I say or you will not hear the end of it." He strained himself from hitting me.

"Pfff. Fine, I warned you" he muttered and I suddenly somehow regretted not holding his hand.

We walked into the elevator and the guard grabbed Luke. Why? I wouldn't know.

"Let me go!" He yelled.

"Let him go, please" I ask politely.

The guard loosened his grip on Luke and he freed himself. He walked forward to stand right next to me, shoulders touching.

We finally arrived on the ground floor and I walked with my hand around Luke's wrist again.

Walking forward, I tripped on something but Luke caught me from falling. "Woah are you okay?" He asked. I felt my stomach drop from the caring gesture.

"Yeah, I'm fine" and with that we stood up straight and Luke kept his arm around my waist. I didn't dare to say or do anything about it.

In the cafeteria, Luke helped himself and we sat down across from each other. "You know what?" He sais with a mouth full of food.

"No," I reply looking him dead straight in the eye.

He swallowed his food slowly.

"I'm lucky that I will get to see your beautiful face everyday babe.
