17 - Exploring

Guys sorry for the chapter cover, it's just so you can have an idea during the chapter. Except in this story, her skin isn't blue/green. She's rather pale whitish.

And omg thank you for 7K, my reads have been increasing even though I sucked at updating. I promise I will update way more often now. I just had massive writers block and I didn't want to write the wrong thing and ruin the whole book :(

~JAI P.O.V~

I quickly left the apartment and ran to a secret hideout that Luke had told me to go to. Once I arrive, Luke was standing in the middle of the room.

"You're taking her away from me" he murmured, the hood of his jacket covering his eyes. "No no no, you don't understand" I walked towards Luke. "Oh I understand 'we should hang out sometime' really? You're trying to make her love you!" His voice boomed around the room.

"She'll never love you Luke!" I stood right in front of him, immediately regretting the words that just slipped out of my mouth.

"She's MINE!" He yelled as I saw his fist coming towards me, blacking out immediately.

~LUKE P.O.V~

I hate doing this, but I can't help it.

Once I placed Jai onto his bed, I quietly tip-toed out of his room. Without making too much noise, I checked around the house.

As I peeked into my brother, Beau's room, he was sleeping soundly. My eyes scanned the room and I saw a wheel chair next to his bed. Why did he need a wheel chair?

I have broken his legs a couple of times. Tying him down and smashing his legs with a baseball bat was one of my hobbies, but he only ever needed crutches for that.

As I looked into mum's room, she sat upright with her lamp on while she read a book. Jai was lying right beside her, he must've gotten out of his own bed whilst I was checking up on Beau.

"I miss Luke" Jai spoke. "Me too, one day we will see him again" she comforted Jai as a tear rolled down his cheek.

This is disgusting.

All the sweet talk bullshit, I'm glad I ran away I can't fucking stand it.

"Mum I need to tell you something" Jai sat up.
Oh no he won't.
"I-" Jai sighed as he looked up to the wall, his eyes widening.
"Mum mum mum" he started panicking as he scurried back into the bed.

"What?" "What is that?!" He shrieked, pointing to the wall.
"I don't see anything" she chuckled.

A girl, a little girl, black eyes, blood covering her teeth.

My beautiful little girl.

She started walking towards mum. "Watch out!" Jai screamed as he tried to pull mum away. "I don't see anyone!" Mum laughed.

The girl then proceeded to take out a knife. My special knife I gifted to her for her 6th birthday in the institution yesterday.

"NO!" Jai jumped towards the girl, landing on the floor as the little girl disappeared and appeared next to me in the hallway.

Her beautiful black eyes looked up at me.
"Good work" I whispered as I patted her head.

She smiled, showing her lovely red teeth.

My difficult exams are over and holidays are only 3 days away so I will update before that again.

I will become better at updating I'm really sorry for the wait.
Also look out for tomorrow there will be a longer chapter but I want at least 10 comments here? Let's see, I can get 40 on my other book so 10 should be easy to get here :)
