"You should be more grateful that Mister Laurence was so kind to let you stay at their mansion Liv!" My mother says in a strict voice.
"How can I be grateful when I don't want to stay there mother! It's so common of you and dad to just let everything go and leave for an europa tour."

"We talked about this a hundred times. Your dad's doing this because of his job he's going to sign the books of his fans and have interviews all over the world."

"But why can't I come with you?" I say desperately not wanting them to go.
"Because you go to school still and Mr. Laurence is an old friend of your fathers. It's going to be great I promise you, he has a nephew who's in your age." She gives me a small smile and walks over to me engaging me into a soft hug. My eyes burn with tears while she gently strokes my hair.
"I'm going to miss you so much." I whisper in her shoulder.
"I know baby, I know."

I sigh and put the book I finished reading back into the shelf of Mister Laurence.
I'm here for almost a week now and my heart still aches at the thought of my parents being away for so long.
It's not bad here Mister Laurence is really kind and great to talk to but I'm just so homesick and I don't think that anything can change that.
"Who are you?" I spin around and let the book drop to the floor which was in my hand before.
A tall boy stands in front of me, dark curls and light eyes confusion written all over his face.
"I.." My voice is soft and quiet and I can't even finish my sentence because I'm blown away.
My cheeks flush and my heart rate goes haywire.
A soft smile makes it's way onto his lips and he steps closer making me step back but my back hits the shelf.
To my surprise he bends down and grabs the book that I dropped.
He gives the cover a quick look and starts talking.
"Doubt thou the stars are fire;
Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt I love." My eyes widen in surprise and excitement takes over me.
"Writes Hamlet for Ophelia." I say a smile on my lips and he gives me one back handing me the book.
"I'm Liv your uncle is letting me stay at your house for a few months because my parents are away." I hold out my hand to shake his but he takes me by surprise when he takes it and presses a soft kiss to my knuckles. "I'm Laurie. I'm staying here as well. Finally I have a partner to read with, it got boring here." He gives me a promising smile while my hand is still in his.
Maybe this stay is not going to be that bad after all.
