"That was bloody fun." Kol grinned tossing the last body on the ground carelessly.

"I'm glad you feel that way." I smirked. Looking around me, literally bodies and blood everywhere. Some were headless, some were heartless others were staked to the walls. Typical Kol. I approached him. Careful not to trip over a heart or something. Didn't want my favourite boots to get all bloody now did we?

"So what now? We completed our list already. We are finally free, Kol. We can do whatever we want." I grinned. What can I say? I'd been dreaming of this day for decades since we started our list of revenge.

"I'm afraid not quite yet, darling." Kol grimaced. "We still have my brother on our tail."

I groaned. Of course, his lovely brother who wouldn't just leave our bloody lives alone.

"My dislike towards your brother is growing more and more every day." I groaned. "Fine, I'll check in on Atlanta." I rolled my eye.

"Terry?"

"He's gone. No sign of him for a few days now." Our informant spoke through my phone.

"Does he know about me?"

"No I think he still thinks it's all Kol."

"Good. Thank you, darling." I smiled to the phone even though he couldn't see me.

"Anything for you sweetheart." He hung up. Terry, the mafia leader who knew of vampire existence, he had connections on every corner of the city. He basically owned it.

Ever since we knew he had a wife, Kol suggested that I got close to him. Had him wrapped around my finger. For situations like this, came bloody useful. Poor guy, we needed him though.

"He knew we were gone already. He might be closer than we thought." I said worried.

"Don't worry, darling. We can move whenever we like. We're done here anyway. Come on, tell me which city do you have in mind?"

"What if he – "

"Come on now, tell me M, I know you've been thinking about this." He cut me off.

"Edinburgh" I smiled looking down.

"When do we leave?" he smirked.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been two weeks since our arrival in Edinburgh. I could safely say those 15 bloody hours of bloody exhausted travel was bloody worth it. From the first time I set foot on this town, I fell in love already.

The architecture, the atmosphere, the people. Bloody amazing. It was an old town. The architecture was still preserved from its original era. It wasn't as sophisticated as London, here mostly were bricks and woods. Harry Potter did a pretty good job at the visualisation I might say. Not to mention, I loved the vibe here. Chill and friendly.
