"Are you absolutely sure she isn't on vervain, sister? No earring, necklace, bracelet whatever jewellery you missed." I heard the Brit's man voice.

I kept my eyes shut. Waiting for the right time to strike as well to gather more information about these bastards who abducted me after snapping my bloody neck.

"Yes for the millionth time, Nik. I am bloody sure. She is not on vervain."

"Then how the bloody hell did she was unaffected by my compulsion?" The man retorted.

I could feel they were moving me out of the car and to a chair.

"I believe we were dealing with something else, brother." A deep voice said. The man in the suit.

"Did you notice when she caught her glass? Her speed was above average." He continued.

I mentally rolled my eyes as I felt ropes around my wrists. Not to mention, it was laced with vervain.

I heard footsteps approaching me. Actually kneeling in front of me.

"There's something different about her."

Brit guy.

"You're not just some pretty face, are you?" He mumbled to himself removing my sunglasses.

Great. Now they knew something up about me and soon my eyes. Bloody great.

"And we snapped her neck. Bloody great. Well done, brothers." The female blonde sassed.

"Well we can't just let her loose and have the bloody council breathing on our neck the whole bloody time now can we?" Blonde Brit snapped back.

I decided now was the time to let my presence known.

"I still didn't see how that justified you to abduct me." I hissed.

They all turned their attention to me. As expected, they looked shocked to see the colour of my eyes.

I noticed I was in some kind of living room. A big and luxury one, might I add. The blonde female stood in front of me with her brothers stood at either side of her.

"What are you?" The blonde man asked.

"Vampire"

I tried to untangle the rope holding my wrist. They tight the rope pretty tight and the burning pain from the vervain didn't help either. Guess I'll have to stall longer than I thought.

"How can you be unaffected by my compulsion?" He looked angered now.

"I don't see how that's any of your concern." I countered back.

"You killed those 10 people." He said.

"Vampires."

"Yes vampires." He rolled his eyes."And we-"

"Look I'm just passing by." I finally loose the ropes but I still kept position. "You can find another excuse for this unfortunate event without involving me. And I will leave you in peace." I offered.

"What's your name?" The man in the suit spoke for the first time I woke up.

"Why do you want to know? Planning my arrest already?"

I was met with silence. I sighed.

"Just so you know, I offered you a chance of peace. And now it's gone. Well if you must know, it's Machae. I would like to know yours too, you know, just in case I failed to kill you now and have to do a revenge plot." I stood up from the chair. While they rose from their seats too.
