Chapter 11

Aria POV:

It was finally the last hour of the day, and I didn't see Justin at all today, once again. He must of left to... hunt. I got goosebumps at the thought. Even though I'm still afraid of Justin, but I don't want to be part from him. For some reason.

I stared at the clock, tapping my feet and pencil along with the second hand on the clock. I stared at the clock throughout the whole hour, not paying attention to the class. The teacher looked at the clock as well, growing impatient with the students that weren't paying attention.

I started to smile and packing up my things, shoving the unimportant papers the teacher gave us to my binder. Then finally the bell rang. Everyone jumped up from their seats, screaming their heads off, cheering. I got squished between the huge crowed of crazed teens.

I speed walked along the hallway, bumping into everyone. I muttered apologizes as I accidentally smashed my shoulder against someone. Once I finally made it to my locker, the boy with his locker next to mine, was talking with someone.

"Dude, did you hear about Autumn Evergreen?" He whispered. I stopped what I was doing and started down at my feet.

"Who?" The other boy asked.

"That hot nerd." He briefly explained.

My eyes wondered around the ground, thinking about poor Autumn. I clenched my jaw, grinning my teeth. It angered me as those jerks speak about her in that way.

"Oh, yeah!" The other boy chuckled. "What about her?"

"I heard she went missing." He whispered more quietly, making sure no one was listening. Well, he did a pretty good job on that.

"No way."

"Yep." I heard him smile.

"How do you know?" His stupid friend asked.

"Because I-"

"Can you just shut the hell up!" I snapped at him. They turned their heads towards my direction, also grabbing others near us attention. I lifted up my head, giving them the most disgusted glance.

"What is your problem?" One asked.

"You don't know anything about Autumn, so I suggest that you shut your fat mouth before I do it for you." I threatened.

"Geez, sorry." My locker neighbor put his hands up in surrender.

"You better be." I spat. I went back to my locker, grabbing my things and shoving them into my small backpack. I zipped up the zipper around and placed a strap over my shoulder. I slammed my locker shut and turned to face them one last time. "If I hear both of you talk about her ever again, I will kill you." I said in a cold and bitter tone, pointing my finger fat them.

I turned around and headed towards the large doors. I could hear people murmuring behind me. I continued to walk out the doors, pushing them open wide enough for me to walk through.

I was the first one out of the whole school to get out, which is a good thing actually. There will be less traffic to get out of the parking lot.

I stride through the parking lot, passing through the cars. Squeezing through the small spaces between then, rushing to get to my car.

Once I made it, opened the back door, tossing my things to the back. I closed the door and got inside at the driver side. I took out my keys from my back pocket, shoving them into the ignition.

The car roared to life, waiting for the engine to warm up. I sat looking at the forest at the other side of the road. My thoughts went directly to Justin.
