Boss Battles

Chapter 3

Hum sprinted towards Alfred at a fast speed. But Alfred was enveloped in lightning, so when got close enough to Hum, he smashed the ground which left some AoE aftershock waves. Hum avoided the attack by dodging to the side. Hum then tried to throw a punch at Alfred but he dodged.

Hum kept throwing punch after punch, all of them being dodged by Alfred. Until he was about to land one blow on him until he disappeared. Hum looked around hoping to find where he went. He looked behind him to see Alfred catching his breath. Hum looked amused as he walked towards his heavy breathing exhausted opponent.

Alfred looked up and smiled and stood up. "Not bad kid, I mean if you could beat Themy then maybe you have something after all. And I know you can come back to life, so let's see how many times you can die before you give up." Alfred said and summoned his trusty staff sniper. Hum looked at the weapon in surprise. The staff that can pierce anything, even the strongest metal.

Then Alfred Teleported a far distance and started firing shots at Hum. Hum dodged each shot and started running towards Alfred. Alfred kept firing trying to hit Hum. Hum got closer and closer to Alfred and when got close enough, he smacked the staff out of his hands. The staff disappeared which meant Alfred recalled it.

Alfred teleported again into the sky and used his arc abilities and came crashing down on Hum, killing him and disapated him. Hum respawned behind Alfred and threw a punch at him. But Alfred teleported behind him and pulled out his staff again shot Hum which killed him.

This time Hum respawned behind Alfred again threw one more punch at Alfred, who tried the same trick. But Hum was prepared and ducked while sending a punch to Alfred's stomach which sent him flying a few dozen feet. Alfred gasped and tried to stand up and hold his stance. Hum was gasping for air too, but he was prepared for anything would Alfred throw at him.

Alfred began to teleport everywhere in attempts to confuse and throw Hum off. Hum looked around frantically trying to keep his eyes on Alfred. Hum decided to calm down and focus on his inner peace. He got his fist ready and threw the strongest punch he could muster. He hit something.

Alfred's eyes widened and got pushed back a few feet away. He started to cough and fell to his knees. He opened his eyes and saw something red.. blood.. Alfred chuckled and looked towards Hum and stood up. "Heh... not bad man... you d-defeated me and T-Themy.. I guess this means you c-can move on... go on and we'll catch up..." Alfred wheezed and started walking towards Themy while still bleeding.

Hum looked as his bleeding opponent was limping away. He tried to assess what he did. He defeated 2 bosses and now he had to defeat 8 more. He knew he had to apologize to them later on. But he knew they will come along and support him as soon as they heal up. But one thing was certain. He had more bosses to beat.
