Boss Battles

Chapter 21

Hum disappeared which surprised Abby and Ericson. Hum reappeared behind the duo and prepared to attack them. But Ericson noticed and immediately punched Hum back. But Eric's hand sent a giant fire ball which caused some burns on Hum. Abby followed up with a strong punch which sent Hum back.

Hum slowly got up and evaluated what just happened. He knew that this might be as difficult or maybe even be more difficult than Alfred's and Themy's fight. He knew he needs one of the others to help him. He tried to figure out who can help him the most.

Abby and Ericson approached Hum before they stopped. They knew that they were more powerful than Hum when they fought together. They stuck close together when they saw Hum disappeared again. Ericson suddenly got hit forwards by a small boulder while Abby used her telekinesis to stop the incoming fire.

Both of them saw Jay using her own telekinesis powers to fling rocks and boulders at them. Abby took care of the incoming projectiles while Ericson found Hum and attacked him. Hum realized he was caught and tried to fight for his life.

Hum dodged flaming fire balls of fists while trying to close the gap between him and Ericson. He got closer and closer to Ericson as Ericson panicked. But befoee Hum could land a punch on Ericson, he teleported to avoid being hit. Hum fell on the ground and was immediately burned by Ericson and was forced to respawn.

Jay was getting tired and stopped attacking and had to sit and relax. Abby now focused her attention to Hum who just respawned. Both of them started attacking Hum again as Ericson was sending out flamming fists while Abby used her telekinesis to fling rocks at him.

Finally, Hum had enough. He called for Alfred and Themy for help. Alfred countered the fireballs with his Thundercrash while Themy made a wall to block the incoming rocks. Hum was now pissed as he immediately charged at Ericson. Ericson however was distracted and didn't see Hum come in and punched him far back.

Abby saw what happened and decided to use her last ability. She waved her hand and took control of Alfred and Themy. She had both of them attack Hum. Alfred used his Staff and Themy charged another shadow laser. But Hum knew what to do as he called out to Kevin.

Kevin knew what Hum wanted and immediately stepped into action. He stopped time and moved Hum out of the way and put him next to Abby. Kevin resumed time and Hum knocked out Abby who released her control on Alfred and Themy. All 3 fell to the ground unconscious and passed out.

Hum sighed and looked over the battlefield. He decided to bring all of the them to the next motel and all of them went to sleep. Hum now had defeated 9 bosses. He only had 1 more to go and his journey would be complete.
