Boss Battles

Chapter 12

When they open the doors, they saw a single person in the middle just lying down. All of them were confused when they noticed that he was sleeping. David and Jay heard a short yelp from behind them. They turn around and see Hum carrying Themy again and Alfred nowhere to be found. They turn back around and see him in the middle sleeping.

David facepalmed while Jay threw a couple rocks at them. Both of them woke up and they got up. They looked at eachother and screamed. Alfred teleported back still screaming until David slapped him. Ranson also stopped screaming and got up begrudgingly. Ranson confused asked what they were doing here. Hum giving Themy to David told Ranson that he was here to challenge him. Ranson put 2 and 2 together and now knew what he was supposed to do.

Ranson dusted himself off and got ready to fight sluggishly. Hum sighed and walked towards him. But as soon as Hum got closer to him, Ranson emitted a loud scream which pushed Hum back. Hum got back up and charged at Ranson who did the same thing. Ranson then used his mind control ability on Alfred and had him use his Thundercrash ability.

Hum dodged the attack and noticed the mind control so he pressed onwards avoiding all attacks from Alfred. Landing a punch on Ranson which pushed him back. The mind control effect disappeared and Alfred collapsed due to the fatigue. Ranson punched Hum back a good distance. Hum could tell Ranson just wanted this battle to finish.

Another scream and Ranson was tired and his throat was starting to hurt. Hum saw the opportunity and charged at Ranson again. and sent a punch straight to his stomach. But Ranson's belly bounced it back at him which sent Hum back a lot. Jay and David stood there watching and waiting for Hum to ask for help. Alfred and Themy were both passed out.

Hum knew he needed their help so he waited for the right moment. He saw rocks off to the right and knew who could use telekinesis. He called out to Jay and had her use her power on the rocks and threw them at Ranson. But he used his strength to break them and he charged at Hum. Hum however, knew that was gonna happen and called out to David. David grabbed Hum and spun around really fast.

Then at the right time and in the right direction, David flung Hum at Ranson at high velocity and speeds. Ranson didn't even had time to react as Hum hit him with such high impact that it created an explosion. The smoke was so large that the smoke breached the top of arena.

When the smoke cleared, Ranson was pushed against the wall and Hum was a few  feet away. A bright light appeared and Hum emerged, giving David a blank look. David in confusion asked what happened. Hum explained that the contact broke every bone in his body and how he's surprised Ranson survived that. All except Themy and Alfred went to check on Ranson.

When they checked on him, he was passed out asleep. They looked at eachother and David had to drag him with them. Hum carried Themy, Jay used her telekinesis on Alfred, and David dragged Ranson. They went to a motel that was nearby for some reason even though they're on mountains. Hum knew that now he had 5 more bosses to go.
