Boss Battles

Chapter 24

Everyone charged at eachother as the battle started. Alfred immediately summoned his staff and started shooting at David. David of course had to dodge each shot and slowly close the distance. When he did, he immediately kicked Alfred's weapon out of his hand and engaged in hand-to-hand combat. Both of them were evenly match as each strike was countered by a block.

Meanwhile Ranson was having difficulty trying to land a hit on Kevin as he kept using  his time-stop ability to dodge the soundwaves. But Kevin was also having difficulty as he kept losing energy as he was getting tired. Getting tuckered out, Kevin collapsed to the floor as Ranson just ran out of breath and collapsed as well. Both fighters were tired and collapsed and fell asleep.

Meanwhile Jay and Abby were throwing rocks at eachother. That was until Jaylyn summoned her clones and began to rush Abby. But Abby used her mind-control ability to control some of her clones. Using the now controlled clones, the two battled it out using telekinesis to launch rocks at eachother. But the real Jay went invisible and snuck up behind Abby and tossed a rock at her head. The rock somehow knocked Abby out and Jay carried her to the side.

Themy and Deven were locked close in a intense sword fight. Both were out for blood and literally since both had cut and slashed at eachother. Swords were being clashed as Themy used his speed to mess with Deven, who was using water to make him slip. Both fighters were moderately bleeding as both have suffered many bruises and cuts. Their battle continued until Deven kicked Themy and knocked him down with the tip of the blade about 2 inches from Themy's nose. Themy, seeing no way out, was forced to give up.

David and Alfred were still in their intense battle. Alfred suffered many bruises here and the due to David's superspeed. But Alfred did not want to give up as he kept fighting. But David decided to end this as he kicked Alfred to the nearest wall. This made a giant impact as Alfred sat there unconscious and bleeding heavily. David realized what had happened and rushed to Alfred to tend to his wounds.

Meanwhile Mango and Hum were duking it out in the middle of the arena. The purple walls with white details were suffering cracks from the other battles. But now the final battle has begun. Hum tried his best but Mango was apparently one step ahead.

Mango shot out fire from her hands in attempt to burn Hum. After that she resortes to creating spikey rock spears and threw them at Hum. Then she sent a wave of water at Hum and used air elements to make it bigger. Hum had to dodge all of her attacks and went in for a attack.

Hum threw a couple of punches but they were all dodged by Mango who then shape-shifted into a giant grizzly bear and swiped at Hum. Changing back, Mango then changed into a shark and used her water elements to surround Hum with water. Leaping out and trying to bite him, Hum was slowly getting more scared and terrified of Mango and her powers.

Then he saw it, an opportunity. Mango released her water elements and changed back rubbing her head. The powers drained her body and caused her to get a headache. Hum decided that this was the only chance that he was gonna get and he didn't want to waste it.

Slowly standing up and slowly began moving towards Mango. He then started speed-walking and then started charging at her. He readied a punch and began screaming as like a war-cry. He knew that this was the moment and it all led to this.

Mango looked and saw the incoming attack. But Hum was moving at such an incredible speed that she didn't have any time to react as he got close. She quickly braced for the hit and hoped it wouldn't hurt too bad.
