Boss Battles

Chapter 4

The 3 of them spent the night at the arena. Alfred struck lightning at the campfire to light it. Themy made sleeping bags out of his shadow elements. They weren't the best but they were comfortable enough. Hum brought a lot of food with him so he shared it.

Alfred was still in pain and was sort of still bleeding. Themy had bruises but otherwise recovered from his Battle. Hum having respawn many times, did not have any injuries. Hum saw Alfred struggling and breathing heavily. Not wanting to see him in anymore pain, Hum walked over to Alfred and sat next to him.

Alfred looked over in confusion and felt Hum place a hand on his shoulder. Then Alfred felt like weight was being lifted off him and the pain dissipating. He stopped bleeding and all the blood disappeared. He looked at Hum in shock as he was glowing slightly yellow. Themy saw this and widen his eyes in surprise. Hum was healing Alfred's wounds.

Hum stopped glowing and opened his eyes to see Alfred feel better. Alfred snapped out of his daze and thanked Hum. Hum smiled and walked over to Themy who was watching him approach. Hum then put his hand on Themy's head. Themy slowly got angry and while he appreciated being healed, he did not want anyone touching his hair.

Hum finished and looked only to see a Themy with an annoyed look on his face. Hum looked confused until Themy muttered "I don't like it when people touch my head." Hum apologize which Themy shrugged off. And then the 3 decided to go to bed to wake up fresh tomorrow.

In the morning, Alfred woke up first. He decided to stretch out and go for a walk. But then he remembered Hum and realized he has to worry about Jay. He teleported to where Jay was, which wasn't too far. Her arena was just a 20 minute hike away. He didn't want her to get hurt. So he teleported to where she is to inform her.

Jay was just sitting there singing until She heard him. She turned and saw him approaching. When she saw him, she ran over and tackled him with a hug. He laughed and they shared a moment together. Then Alfred decided to tell her what's coming.

Jay understood what he was talking about. And she knew that he and Themy won't be able to help her. She told him that it's okay and that he wouldn't need to worry if she wins or lose. He calmed down and decided to head back after saying goodbye to Jay. All he knows is that he needs to remind Hum about his upcoming battle.
