"How did you get in here or even to this house? What the... I don't understand-"
My confused and scared gibberish is cut short by the unwelcome visitor's taunts. "With so many people traipsing in and out of this party, I'm sure it's no surprise that I easily slipped in alongside the catering team." His eyes are dark and his expression menacing.
I don't even know what to say. Or what I can say in this situation. All I know is that the last time this freak saw me, he attacked Zach and I. He is definitely dangerous and the fact he is in my parents' house right now is so alarming.
"Where's your heroic boyfriend now?" His mocking tone sets my blood boiling.
Do not aggravate this situation, Selena.
"That's none of your God damn business."
Okay yep, no self restraint, as always.
Tyler chuckles. His cropped black hair is now on full show. No longer is he trying to carry a facade with a wig. In the low lighting of this wine room, he looks terrifying.
"You know, I did plan to come by earlier, actually. Zach's tires unfortunately took an unnecessary hit though, as I decided there was no point in visiting you so early in the day. There would have been too many people sniffing around. The night is also when the fun happens. I'm glad I was able to hang around in this little dark spot for a while, waiting for you. Great selection of wine too."
This guy is such an evil piece of shit. I grimace when I realise he has been drinking too. There's an empty bottle of wine laying on the ground near him. Although I doubt this makes him any more dangerous than he would be sober since he is a nut case. I need to remain cautious at all times.
I glance quickly to my sides and realise how I can use this otherwise terrifying location to my advantage. A wine cupboard with ample bottles of wine I could smash over his head. As gruesome as it sounds, I need to get out of here somehow and that is going to be the best and most realistic way. I just need to figure out how to distract him long enough to do so. There are some wine bottles on the shelves just behind me, so I should be able to grab those easily enough.
I reply to him so he doesn't get suspicious. One good thing about him having drank is that his thought processing will be a little slower than normal. "What do you want?"
He smirks, and it makes me feel sick to the stomach. "I don't know, to be honest. I just feel drawn to you, and I know you feel the same. Your eyes were tempting me when I saw you last. Why should Zach have all the fun?"
I scoff. "You are deluded. I do not want you, nor have I ever wanted you. You came into my room and you attacked Zach and I."
He inches closer to me and his eyes are burning into mine, the anger in them is clear as day. I slowly move my hand behind my back and try to manoeuvre it to grab a wine bottle. He looks so angry by my words that he doesn't notice my slow movement.
"You gave me a signal at the first event I saw you at too. You are denying what you want. I want a taste of Hollywood's finest girl too." He is such a slimy and twisted boy. And that is why he deserves what is coming for him.
"I have never given you a signal." I maintain my angry tone as I manage to grasp a bottle of wine behind my back as he talks. He is closer to me now, and the only thing making me not wretch from the proximity is that he is going to be knocked out cold on the ground in a matter of seconds. This will not be a repeat of last time where I froze up and dropped the vase.
