A rapid knocks can be heard from the perfect carved wooden door as Thingol groaned. He lazily sat up with a few curses coming out of his lips. He sighed and looked at the empty space beside him.
Thingol has missed your presence ever since you have died from an incurable disease thirteen years ago, he desperately crave for your love and warmth but it was out of his reach.
He groaned again as the knocks were being repeated. He ran a hand through his long white hair and got out of the bed, putting on his silk robes to cover his bare upper body.

"You may come in Antharre, and tell me directly what you need.." Thingol shouted as he put another layer of robes. The said young elf opened the door, but his face was still full of shock and happiness.
"My Lord.. you won't believe this but.." and then Antharre began to tell the rest, making the elven king stop in shock and turn to his adviser. He wanted to see it for himself.

"Where is she?" He immediately asked as soon as Antharre said in the gardens, Thingol began running. Not caring if any of his servants see him in his nightwear, he ran as fast as his feet could carry him and alas he has reached the gardens of his castle. There you stood, your (h/c) hair was flowing by the gentle winds, you were clothed in white as if you have been sent by Eru himself (which he probably did).
"Y/n..?" Thingol called out, you immediately turned when you heard his voice. A graceful smile on your lips as your (e/c) eyes shimmered in delight in seeing your beloved elf.

The both of you quickly ran towards each other, wanting to feel the warmth of each other's skin. You were soon on his strong arms held in a protective embrace. You sighed as you buried your head to his chest happy to be finally be with him again. Thingol pulled away and put many kisses all around your face making you giggle, it was out of character for him.

He soon laid his forehead against yours, savouring the moment. You both soon looked into each other's eyes and soon kissed, the love and happiness surging through it as you were satisfied with being with your husband again.
