Light beamed from the curtains as you stir slightly from your sleep, you soon completely open your eyes, feeling a specific someone nuzzling their nose in your hair. Chuckling lightly as you felt the arm around you tighten, you slowly turned around to face your sleepy husband. You sighed in content as you snuggle your face on his chest as he hummed, acknowledging your actions.

"Good morning meleth.." you greeted Elwë as he pulled you closer, as if the distance isn't to his liking.

"'Quel amrun melamin.." The silver haired elf greets back and he presses a kiss on the top of your head making you smile wider. A few moments went on until the peaceful cuddle session between you and your husband was disturbed by a knock on the wide door.

"Lord Elwë, I am very sorry for interrupting but your meeting with the dwarf lords will start soon." Elwë's advisor, Nagdanel, called out from outside. Your husband let out a grunt as he lazily sit on the bed, you following suit. He got out of the blankets and reached for his robe. You looked at him with desperate puppy eyes once he turned to you, the silver haired elf chuckled and kissed your forehead. You sighed in content from the small and sweet affection from ellon.

"Do not worry my love, I will be back in a short time. Is there anything you need before I call you for afternoon?" Elwë says as he nuzzles his nose to temple. You bit your lip, enthralled by what your about to say to him.

"Well, I would do like some soft cake with a sweet berry filling.." you say as you hugged him, not too tight though.

"Alright, I will be back soon. I will have the servants bring you your breakfast here.." Elwë says as he gives you one last kiss on your lips and went to the door.
As he opened it, there stood Nagdanel who bowed in respect to her king. Elwë lazily waved a hand at her and soon walked with her to the meeting room. But before they could go far.

"Oh! And Elwë! I am pregnant!" You shot from the bedroom, making Elwë stopped in shock and happiness from your words while you giggled inside you and your husband's chambers.
