The Launch

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!" The host started the event. Pagkatapos ng welcome address ni mom at dad, the people started eating.

"Kuya, what food is this?" I asked the guy who was in charge for that food. "Fish Fillet with spicy sauce." He answered me directly.

"Lora!" Someone shouted at my back. "Huh?" Napasabi ako.

May nakakakilala sa akin dito? Well, except for the employees of my parents but they call me "Ma'am Lorraine." Sino ba 'yun?

"Lora, I'm at your back." A guy tapped my right shoulder. "The heck?" I told that person while turning my head towards him. "Ikaw pala 'yan, Jandrè. Akala ko kung sino. Sorry, ha." I told him dahil napahiya ako sa 'The Heck' ko.

"Haha! Okay lang." He answered me plainly. He's kind of like mabait pala. "Tara upo muna tayo doon." He said while pointing there to the Presidential table. Presidential table is where the President, CEO and the business partners sit. My dad is the President/CEO of our company while my mom is the Vice President. Kaya doon ako uupo pero ewan ko ba kay Jandrè.

"Bakit? business partner ka ba ng company namin?" I asked him curiously. "My parents are." He answered me directly. "Oh, kaya pala. Why didn't I see you a while ago if you were sitting there?" I asked him again. "Late na kasi ako dumating." He answered.

Kaya naman pala. Business partners pala ang parents namin. "What's your family business?" I asked him while putting my plate on the table. "Chocolate products. For example, chocolate drinks at mga chocolate things." He humbly answered me. Mayaman. Mayaman din pala sila. Kaya naman pala Lexus at BMW 'yung mga sasakyan niya. Well, we're kind of the same. "Oh... Okay... Mayaman din pala kayo. So sa inyo pala galing ang mga chocolate products namin. Maganda rin 'yung soap niyo. As in, maganda talaga." I told him my feedback to their soap. "Hehe! Ako kaya nag request na gawin 'yang product na 'yan. I'm in to experiments. I also made some experiments for that soap. My experiment was part of the formula to make that soap. You know what I mean." He showed off his skills.

Magaling na kung magaling. Si Mr. Laboratory Guy pala 'to, eh. Show off? Show off gusto mo? Okay then, I'll give you some.

"Ah, ganun ba? I'm here naman kasi ako ang magiging model para sa product na ila-launch ngayon. Most of the brands here sa company namin, ako ang nagmo-model. Uhm.... Kain muna tayo, ah?" I told him kasi nagugutom na ako. "Okay, Lora."

Pagkatapos kong kumain, tinawag ako sa MC para ipakilala na ako ang model for the products that are launched. Then I went back to the table.

"Could we take selfie?" Jandrè asked me. Selfie? Hahaha! "Okay, sure." Sagot ko sa kanya while fixing my hair. "Smile!"

I'm sure ipo-post niya naman 'to sa ig. Haha! Instaboy.

"Lorraine, go home first. Kasi you still have classes tomorrow." Mom informed me. "Okay po, mommy. Bye!" I told her while kissing on her cheek. "Bye."

"Bye, Jandrè. I have to go na." I told him. "Okay, Lora. Bye."
