it happened during recess , while han and i were queuing for the food .

(p/s : this takes time before the incident)

suddenly , my shoulder was getting pushed from behind which caused me to lose my balance . i nearly fell down but luckily jisung caught me by my arm .

" woah you're okay ? "

i gasped out of shock .

" ye-yeah . i was just , shocked . "

jisung groaned in frustration .

" yah ! aren't you using your eyes properly ?! atleast apologises to her . "

i covered up my face using both of my hands .

" yah sung ! stop it !! i told you , i'm fine !!"

i whispered to him .

" not until he apologises to you " jisung glared at the figure until he turned around .

" huh ? are you talking to me ?"

yang jeongin .

he's much well known at the school for being the cold and unbothered guy .

he turned around with one of his eyebrow raised up towards jisung .

jisung gritted his teeth out of anger .

" it's not my fault she's the one getting in my way . and she should stop being a weakling and grow up . defense yourself ." he smirked .

as soon as i heard his words , i turned my head towards the floor . my eyes started to flood with tears .

he was right . i was always being a burden . i couldn't even build myself up .

" you ー " jisung nearly threw a fist towards him until i grabbed his hand .

" s-stop ! e-enough , ji . it's fine . i wasn't hurt after all . "

" b-but ー "

" i said enough ! "

i gasped . i turned towards jisung who looked as shock as i was .

" n-no ji . i-i ー "

he sighed before quietly took a step and left the cafeteria .

i groaned in frustration as i realised the shit i have caused .

i sighed heavily . what a day . at least jisung wasn't that mad at me . instead , he comforted me .

" just forget about what he said . i'll always got your back and defend you whenever you need it . "
