"I THOUGHT WE WERE ON A TRUCE!!!" the crazy bitch screamed in my face. She had the audacity to scream at me when I could easily kill her in one motion... Typical.
"Oh, Clyssy. You seriously believed me? How can we possibly be on a truce when you betrayed all of us. Left your own mother to die and ruined your daddy's name. How just how can we forgive you that easily Clyssy?" I questioned in a sweet voice, walking around where she was chained and smiling at the fire I raised in her eyes.
"I did nothing wrong! This whole scheme is a load of shit. You know what? You are right. I can't believe I was stupid enough to think you changed. To think you got any better or even wiser. You are as dumb as you'll ever be." As soon as those words escaped her filthy mouth a slap so hard it could have killed an elephant landed on her left cheek. As the sound of the slap echoed through the room, I pulled her face closer to mine using my manicured fingers.
"Don't ever talk about me and this project like that," I squeezed the part around her cheeks hard before I pushed her head away roughly, "bitch."
At that satisfying moment, I swished around and walked away, the clicking of my heels being the only sound in the still air. Oh how I wish I didn't have to keep up appearances, I'd get this job over with and drop the silly act I've been keeping up for years. Oh well... I guess it's time for action.
Cornor's P. O. V
Faster. I. Need. To. Move. FASTER!!! Since the professional dimwits disabled my ability to call for a drone, I'm stuck here using my crappy legs. Right now I can't even feel them but I surely need to move at the speed of light. If Mr. Rodriguez has something to do with their disappearance, I'm afraid... No. No such thoughts are allowed on my mind anymore. I just need to move faster...
Just as I was about to try to run faster, I felt myself going down and I crashed with a sickening thud. "What the-" I started but I stopped and cursed under my breath once I saw my untied shoe-laces. I mean... Seriously?! I have no time for tying my bewitched shoelaces. Damn! If I had access to a drone right now I wouldn't have fallen.
I got up, not minding the shoelaces that stayed untied and started my sprint once again, hoping against hope that the agency had nothing to do with this. I finally got to headquarters and ran in without bothering to say hello to Oscar. I swear... that guy is everywhere. In a few seconds, I was bursting into Mr. Rodriguez'office shouting, "WHERE ARE THEY!!!"
The rotund man turned in his rotating chair and gave me a smug look, "Who?" I stomped my way to him and slapped that smug look off his plump face, "My friends you bitch."
"First of all, I am male. Which will make me a dog," his calm expression left me dumbfounded, "second, I don't give a damn about your friends anymore. We got what we need... And that is Alexa. Or is she one of those fairytale princesses that you call your friends?"
One of his brows was raised and I hate to say it, but it intimidated me, "N-no." At that precise moment, I regretted all my actions, the ones that I took without thinking. Seriously though, how could I slap my own boss and call him a bitch? The man could end my life without even lifting a finger and here I am, literally asking for death.
His eyes moved down to my feet and he smiled, "Didn't your momma teach you how to tie your shoelaces?" My face immediately went red and I clenched my fists, fighting the urge to hit the man right in the middle of his floppy belly. "Oh... Sorry about that. I forgot that you lost your momma. So sad," I couldn't take it anymore.
I turned and left his office with nothing else to say. Once I had closed the door behind me, a ran my hand through my hair and kicked the wall to my right. What was I going to do now? Where, just where could my friends be?
I was about to give up and go ask the others what to do when Oscar's rough voice caught my ear, "Just get her to tell you anything you dimwit. We can't attack them without knowing anything about them... No. Your knowledge is not enough. They trust her more. Plus has your so-called best friend ever told you anything... Exactly. Now GO WORK!!!"
What exactly...
I peeked through the corner but I immediately jerked back when I saw Oscar look my way, praying that he didn't see me. A short while later, I heard his footsteps start moving in the other direction. I risked my chance and peeked again... He was going to the unfinished part of the building. I slowly followed and I was about to finally see what he was up to when my watch started ringing loudly. Who in the world would be needing my help right now?! Once I silenced the watch, I checked the location of the person summoning me... The school.
What kind of trouble has Alexa gotten herself into this time?
