I climbed up and onto the window sill, I peered over the edge and saw no body. Ashley's voice startled me as she walked into the living room.

"Hey let's get down from there."

I was left scratching my head as I jumped down from the ledge, Ashley was looking at me as if she wanted an explanation.

"Well? Am I just gonna have to stand here all night or are you gonna tell me?"

"It's Becky, I brought her back here."

"You did what?!?"

"She didn't see anything, I was looking through a book when I heard a noise I came out hear and saw Becky sitting on the edge of the windowsill. I tried to convince her to come down but she didn't, she fell out of the window. But there's no body, no dust and no trace of her. It just doesn't make any sense!"

"So Becky killed herself but she's not there dead? Surely that's a good thing."

"But how the fuck isn't she dead! It just doesn't make any sense!"

An idea popped into my head and I pulled Ashley into the secret library, I went back to the two vampire lords book and scrolled through until I found a page about death. If one of two vampire lords die, all vampire's will die. In the previous history dark vampires are required to keep a watch on there other half 'light' at all times, dark vampire lords can feel the pain the light ones are in no matter if it's physical or mental. Light vampires are more prone to death unless they've trained in the underground sea temple of the high priestess, most light vampires haven't as it wasn't there choice to become such a creature.

"You think Becky is a vampire lord? Why would she train to be a hunter if she was one herself?"

"Light vampires don't want to be vampires! It makes sense, she was trying to escape life but Uther was there to stop her from dying."

"You actually think our best friend from comp is a fucking light vampire lord? I'm sorry but I don't believe it!"

"Ashley just think about it, she's pale and pasty, wears long sleeves and she bolted out of here on Tuesday morning! She needed blood, she's a vampire!"

"Firstly most people are pale around here, it was cold during trading week and maybe she was just embarrassed? Not all girls like waking up in Colby Lopez's bed believe it or not!"

"You certainly did."

"Fuck off Lopez."

She walked down the hall to her bedroom and slammed the door, I put on a record and sat back down with the book trying to find out any information on where Becky could be and if there's any way to rid Becky of her vampirism. I can't kill her but I swore on it so I'm going to have to at some point I just hope that I find some way to help her before the timer runs out and Ashley kills her herself. I bite my lip as I read more, my stomach twists as I read about most way light vampire lords are turned. I place the book down as the vinyl comes to the end, I jump up and look out of the window.

"I'll find you, I promise. I'll stop this and I'll save you..."
