Becky
"Boss he's in your office."

What a mood killer, I feel Uther move away so I wrap my arms tighter around him.

"Becky I really need to go."

"Mm."

"I'll be back the sooner you let me leave."

I let out a huff and released my grip on him, he stood up from the bed and straightened out his jacket.

"I promise I won't take long."

"Okay."

He shut the door behind him as he left, I instantly felt bored. I tried to entertain myself but there wasn't exactly much in Uther's room that I would normally interact with. I make the bold decision to go see how Uther's doing, he's only been gone ten minutes but I'm bored and cold. I pull the door open and start to walk down the halls, I can hear screams and it sounds like they are coming from Uther's office. I raise my eyebrows before walking a little closer.

"I was~AHHHH!"

I'd know that voice anywhere, I creep into the door way and see a bloody Colby underneath an enraged Uther. I can see the blood dripping off Uther's fist as he raises it to punch Colby again.

"Stop!"

He doesn't even flinch, his fist connects hardly with Colby's face.

"Uther Stop!"

Again nothing, I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder to try and calm him but he pushed me so hard I fell into the wall.

"Uther!"

I cried out to him but nothing, I know what I have to do to get him off of Colby. I walk over to him and carefully and quietly chant an spell under my breath. I see him start to freeze up as he climbs off Colby.

"Becky?"

He looked at me as if he couldn't remember what just happened, like his monster side completely took over him.

"What have you done?"

I point to the bloody Colby on the floor.

"He deserved it, nobody can stab you and get away with it lightly."

"This is too far Uther!"

"Don't you think stabbing you was a little far?"

"You slammed me into a wall two minutes ago so I don't know? Now move away from Colby and let me tend to his face."

"No he deserves to die, burn in hell for what's he's done not just to us but to every vampire he's killed."

He kicked him in his gut, causing him to groan. My protective side was in the drivers seat for a moment as I raised my hand at Uther.

"Please don't make me do what I don't want to, just step away. If not for his sake, for mine."

Another kick, harder this time.

"Uther please."

He grabbed Colby's hair and punched him across the face busting his nose.

"That's enough!"

I sent Uther into the wall and I saw his eyes change, he pushed away the filing cabinet and rushed up to me. Before I could do anything to stop him I felt his hand around my throat, crushing my airways.

"...Uther...please..."

I was desperately grasping at his hands trying to give me some room to breathe but he just tightened his grip choking me out.

"...no..."
