Me and my family have always been close...like peas in a pod. But they weren't so thrilled when they found out I was going to Hogwarts....
It was June 8th and it was very sunny, I was at the park my pastel purple hair shining perfectly in the blazing sun. "Rose, Rose! Get over here!" My friend called
out standing at the fence and pointing rapidly
"What?!?!" I said genuinely scared that he saw someone get murdered but as I approached the fence I gasped
"No way....!" I saw a old man with white hair and beard with another slightly younger woman with brown hair in a bun. These were hogwarts professors.
"You....you..." Mike began
"I got into Hogwarts!!" I exclaimed and as I said that I swear I saw the old man, who I now recognized as Albus Dumbledore, look over at me and smile before entering my house where both mine and Mikes' parents were
A few minutes later I heard my mother shouting....of course she had to ruin this for me
Then I heard Dumbledores voice "Still Mrs Evergarden I-" he was cut off
"She doesn't deserve to go there! She's perfectly happy here! Besides she hasn't showed any signs of even HAVING magic!!!!"
My father shouted even louder to the point where Dumbledores words were but a whisper
Mikes parents were trying to stop the drama
"Now now Malory just consider this please." He said desperately "And stop shouting!" He added bravely
"Now I know we don't have authority but I must strongly recommend your child go to Hogwarts because as you know Mr Evergarden your name gets put on a list automatically when your born if your magical and young Roses name has been on here so it's quite clear she has magic, even if not expressed to you yet." He seemed to stress the word you as if he knew I had showed my magic to someone...Mike.
Mike knew I had magic I had showed him all my power,being able to change the wheather at will, levitate things ect.
Finally after a while they agreed, begrudgingly to think about my going to Hogwarts.
And that's how I became the first girl with a disability to go to Hogwarts.
