Rose Evergarden- Year one

Hogwarts express

The next day it was time to go home and we boarded the Hogwarts Express again
"Ah remember this compartment..." James said happily
"Where I threatened to fight you?!" Mike asked
"I mean if James hadn't been a complete idiot I wouldn't have met you, Rose." Lilly said looking at me
I just nodded slightly
"I- think I'm gonna go sit alone..." I said quietly
"What?! No Rose!!" Lilly said sadly
"I'm gonna go...please don't follow me..." I said and I left

Remus' pov:

"That was um....weird.." I said quietly

"Whats up with her?!" Lilly asked slightly annoyed "She's been diffrent since she came back from yours!" She shouted at me

"I-" I started

"I swear to g-" Lilly started aswell but Sirius covered her mouth

"Anyway its probably because of this letter.." Remus said going to pull out a letter but they heard the compartment door open

"Boys and....girl we're getting off!" Professor McGonagall said sternly

"Oh! I've got to go find Rose again!" I said picking up all my stuff

"Why?!" Sirius asked

"Because she's living with me and my parents now I said smiling and leaving

Lillys'pov:

Remus left hurridly and me and the others stood in shock before  I just stopped in  my tracks

"Lils? What is it?" Sirius asked

"Look.."  I said quielty and we saw Rose standing while her parents shouted at her and Professor McGonagall broke away from the thick crowd that had gathered and stepped in front of Rose and at once they both stopped talking "I taught both of you..." She started quietly "And yet I still can't understand where I went wrong...."
the crowd had stopped listening to these words
"You ought to be sent to jail and believe me however much you try to run....I will find both of you.." she said turning to Rose and saying things no-one could hear and then went over,with Rose to Remus' parents and remus' mother just pulled Rose into a hug and remus ran over and whispered 3 words into Roses ear "I love you..." and by the time Remus and I looked back around roses' parents were gone same with Professor McGonagall and we went over to Rose "See you next year!" I called cheerfully hugging Rose "Yeah dont die please!" Sirius said laughing
"Yeah......." James said
All of us stared at James for a second then left Rose and Remus alone.

Remus' POV:
"You okay?" I said to Rose staring at her grief-stricken face
"Mhm..." she said not making eye contact with me
"Rose...."
She looked at me "Remus..." she said a few tears forming in her eyes and I grabbed her tight and we walked out of the station together our parents ahead.

Well, this had been one hell of a year, but we had eachother and.....

I had Rose, the best sister I could hope for.
