Roses Pov

When his parents left we sat in awkward silence
He stood up "Do you need help?" He asked he looked at my hands "Wait hold on." He said and left I was really confused until i looked down.
Oh my god!" I shouted looking down at my hands they were drenched in blood
"Hey calm down!" Remus said coming back in and beginning to wipe my hands gently with a wet towel, soaking up all the blood from either me or him, he didn't say.

He then extended his hand again "M'Lady." He said happily
I smiled slightly though I still felt terrible I grabbed his hand and swayed a little bit
"You ok?" He asked
I nodded but still felt dizzy everything was going fussy Remus griped my hand tighter
"It's okay. Just breathe.." he said re assuringly
And we made it up to his bedroom.
He then reached under his bed
"Remus what are you-"
"Hold on!" He said laughing he pulled something out wrapped in brown paper he handed it to me
"Wha-" I started
"Rose! It's yours open it!!
I took it wearily and slowly peeled the wrapping to reveal a Silver necklace with a fox staring at the Moon on it
"Remus how did yo-" I started
"I didn't!" He said smiling "You just mentioned really liking foxes!" He said laughing
Just then we heard the front door open.
"Oh! I better hurry to give you my gift!" I said startled by how much time had passed
"You got me a gift??!" He asked stunned
"Of course! It's not that good compare to yours..."
I reached and pulled out my gift from out my bag
"Here, it's not amazing but I didn't know what else to get you."
Remus was speachless as he opened up the gift and stared at it, it was a really detailed hand painted painting of all of us:

"Did....did you paint this?!?" He asked
"Yeah...I really didn't know what else to do.
"It's amazing!" He said hugging me
"Remus! We need to talk to you!" His mother shouted up the stairs she sounded happy but serious
"Oh" we broke apart Remus' face went white
"What if Dumbledore said he's going to-" he started
"Remus, you can't control it he isn't going to expel you." I said smiling at his and standing up to open the door for him
"Thanks Ro!" He said happy going downstairs
I received another letter from my mother
You. Was how the letter was addressed

I hope you understand we did what we did to you because you deserved it. We've been burdened our whole life by you. Your a cursed child. Your a burden and a nuisance to everyone you meet. No one will ever love you.

I had had things like this spat at me many times and this time was terrible I fell onto the floor and started to sob quietly because I knew she was right.

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and quickly wiped my tears and hid the letter, Remus had worried about me enough he shouldn't have to waste his energy anymore
"Rose!" He said entering happily
"What is it?" I asked scared
"I've got something to tell you."
He was going to tell me he hated me

And my mindset became more toxic and self deprecating.
