Spenser and I traveled back to Fall City via the Lapras, and it was a swift and comfortable ride. By the time we got to the Ranger Base, we received news about rockfalls throughout the Krokka Tunnel, blocking the way between the two cities. Seeing as its a major travel artery, it obviously needed attention. Guess who that job fell to?

Joel said that the rockfalls might be overwhelming for just one Ranger, so he sent ahead a Fall City Ranger to the site to work with me. Expectantly, I walked towards the door looking back at Spenser. "I'm sorry, Serena. Unfortunately I need to confer with others for now, and use Cameron's report to learn more about what the Go-Rock Squad are doing with the professor's Styler. I will catch up with you later at dinner!" So I proceeded to the tunnel alone.

You wouldn't believe the atrocity I came upon inside the tunnel.

"Oh? Serena? Are you the Ringtown Ranger they said would join me later?" Lo and behold, its the Purple Menace. That's a nickname I surely won't say to her face.

"Hello again, Aria. Nice to be working with you!" Stay calm and friendly. It drives them insane.

"You know, this doesn't look like a job that would take the both of us. I've already done this much, so you can take care of the rest by yourself, can't you?" Is she seriously leaving me to do all the work? She thinks she can manipulate the newbie I see. Then I'll just show her who's the best of the two.

"Sure, Aria. I can do it!" I knew she'd smirk like that, but the jokes on her.

"There's only three rockfalls left to clear. I'm very busy with that Go-Rock Squad case, so I'll leave you to it." She saunters out of the cave, even going so far as to flip her curls when she passed me. That girl is something. What I don't understand is why she sees me as a threat to her, if she's so accomplished and experienced and all. Guess I'm besting everyone then. Competition is just too fun to squash.

I found the rockfalls easy, and I needed to find a strong Pokemon to smash them and clear them away for the citizens to pass through. Luckily, there lived a few Hariyama in this cave system, and they were captured pretty quickly. They made short work of the boulders, and it reminded me of the story Spenser told me this morning about the Hariyama revealing ancient stuff in a cave by destroying rocks just like these.

Again, you wouldn't believe what I found while exploring the caves for the last Hariyama.

"Pokemon a go go!" Oh dear, these buffoons again. They did the same flourishing performance as before, owning their respective instruments, and I'll be honest it is kind of melodious. I'm starting to admire Tiffany the most, even if she's on the other side of justice right now.

"We nailed our performance this time, right? Anyways..." Stepping forward, with everyone turning straight to him like before, was Billy. Fur collar boy is definitely the leader of the four. "We came running when we heard Union Rangers were active in the Krokka Tunnel. So we get here and what do we find? Our old friend from Summerland's jungle cleaning up rocks!" They all laugh, and it's obvious I'm to be made a fool of. Keep laughing....

"Is that a side job or something? Haha!" I simply roll my eyes. If it was anybody else, I might actually be trembling. Not. I really can't take them serious at this rate.

"Ha, ha. Very funny. And what in the world are you four doing here of all places? Why did you care that Rangers were active here?" I cross my arms, patiently waiting.

"Somewhere within this cavern sleeps a legendary Pokemon..." Garret turns towards me, his white coat flapping. "Have you heard such a rumor? Wouldn't you agree that is the most exhilarating and exciting of tales?"
