Rachel.

Oh man! I am really nervous right now! Wedding rehearsal, that too with Remo as my partner? No way. Already he had made me sweat profusely the last time, when he literally plunged into my house without a warning and I got so alarmed it felt as if he was there to ring my knell.

He broke all of my weird imaginations when he said that he got into a cage fight and dropped here only to see me. He even went on to say that the last time I had treated him after the cage fight made his wounds heal at a faster pace.

Seriously! I was growing on me.

And what about him growing on you? Mocks my subconscious at me.

Everytime our eyes met, fireworks were sure to happen, whenever our skin made skin to skin contact the electrifying feeling was hard to ignore.

Yes! Even he is growing on you Rach!

One day I am sure to stab this subconscious of mine, for making me more miserable.

Now I was in a five star hotel, with Remo holding me close to his chest and we were dancing.

I had prayed to God, for Remo to back out from this rehearsal. But it seemed as if the heavens itself was mocking at me and had other plans. He was quite excited about it and said that he wanted to meet his friends.

I was absolutely taken back by what he said. Something was definitely off with him. I couldn't clearly put my finger on it. Never ever before have I seen Remo this excited. Something was definitely off the beat and I needed to find it out.

I was definitely happy for Sam and was even elated on the fact that I was her Maid of honor! But Remo being here at the same time dada being here wasn't definitely the best of an idea.

"Angel! Is everything all right? You seem to be lost in deep thoughts." Remo enquires, breaking me out of my trance.

"Mm. Eh?.. Did you say something?" I was absolutely clueless of what Remo was speaking.

"Are you alright? You seem a bit out of place today. Aren't you well?" He questions me out of pure concern.

Yes! My thoughts were travelling 100km/hr and I was even oblivious to the fact that dada was waving at me to meet him outside the ballroom.  God! I am in serious mess.

"Yah! I just need some fresh air. I'll be back. I....ha...need to use the wash."

Remo eyes me suspiciously and that's when I just realize what blunder did I just spit out.

Who really goes to the wash to get fresh air? He might have thought that I was nuts but didn't ask me anything else.

Leaving him in the middle of the ballroom, I make my way out.

When I am completely out of the room, I find dada standing in one corner of the room leaning against the wall. On seeing me, he pushes himself against the wall and pulls me into a bone crushing hug.

"My sweetie, thanks a lot." He tells still hugging onto me.

I am completely clueless to his sudden happiness.

"What are you talking about?"

"He will be arrested tomorrow."

Was I even listening to him properly? I very well knew who the "he" was. But I chose to stay clueless.

"Who dada?"

"Remo."

Eh!?

"Isn't it too early?"

"Yah, even I find that amusing sweetie, it seemed as if all the answers to our questions were given to us on a platter. But better be late than never I am so happy. Finally David is going to get justice."

"What do you mean dada?"

"One of his soldiers, came forward and revealed most of his secret to us."

One of his soldiers? This early? Something wasn't settling well with me. People didn't win Remo Falcone's trust that easily, it all came with a price. And on top of that Remo wasn't somebody whom you like to mess with. He was to be taken seriously. That man had this aura around himself with which he held his head high and walked fiercely as if he was the last specie of the Alpha male on the face of earth!

"Are you sure that it isn't any kind of coy to trap us?" I ask him.

"No darling. All the proofs provided by him was valid and in a matter of seconds I'll get them. I don't think it's a coy to trap us. Because so far Remo didn't have any doubt on. So I know that we are safe."

"But dada...." I am stopped in the middle, when dada raise his hands to stop me from making any further comments on his recently found investigation.

"You wouldn't have been alive if Remo was to find our truth. You neither know Remo nor his dealings. Had he been aware of our little stunt to trap him, you wouldn't have been fortunate enough to breath now, let alone speak. Just thank God that it is going to be over and you will be redeemed from his clutches very soon. You just sit back and enjoy the show that is to unfold tomorrow. "

I let out my breath that I was holding unknowingly throughout dad's speech.

"You are going to crash Sam's wedding?" I knew that this was coming up, but his answer just confirmed my worst nightmare.

"I guess we don't have any other option dear." Dada says casually.

"No! No! Promise me you won't do this. Let the wedding be over, I'll promise you to hand over Remo after it. But promise me dada that you won't pull out any stunt like this. Not atleast on your daughter's wedding. David will never forgive you. If he was here, he wouldn't have liked one bit of your idea. So promise me dada. Give me your word." I plead with desperately.

"Okay." He sighs after much thinking which feels like eternity. "But, his arrest will be soon recorded after the wedding and that's final. I give you my word sweetie." He takes my hand in his and promises to make me feel better.

My stomach itself ties into a knot and the eerie feeling is hard to deny. My gut says that, nothing is gonna remain the same, I mean not even a thing!
