Rachel.

Absolutely! He was the One!! Only he could help me out of this crisis. Although he wasn't in any special force,he himself was the special force.

He was more than perfect for the task at hand. With his manly body, his fierce look and those eyes which could give an eerie feeling down anyone's spine was what was needed.

I didn't expect him to agree to our meeting at the coffee shop. I was taken back that he was the first one to jump to my proposal. He had no reason to agree to it. Neither was I expecting him to do so. I didn't mean to burden him with our casual meeting, but there was no other better option than Remo.

Will he say a yes or a no?

Whatever it may be, I will definitely give it a try. Even if he is to deny me, I wouldn't mind. I'll extend my hands for friendship no matter what. Because I owe him.

After a lot of rolling and tossing, I got out of my bed. Sweeping all these thoughts aside, I wanted to hug to the positive side of life. Getting out of bed,I was invited by the licking and pawing of my buddy! My Marmaduke!
He was a pug,who always stood by my side.

"He'll agree to it right Marmaduke?"

He gave his double sure bark at my question. I like this about dogs, whatever toll life may take on them, they always made sure to give an optimistic aura to the people around them. Marmaduke made his way into my life on our first anniversary. David was an animal lover and so was I.

"That's my boy." I said,hugging him tightly.

Remo had asked for our meeting at seven, so I had ample amount of time for my usual walk at the park. Usually I took Marmaduke along with me,but since I had a meeting with Remo I left him at home.

So, quickly changing into my favorite black sweatpants and a tank top I headed for the park.

The park was a ten minutes walk from my house. I was a morning person and enjoyed morning strides. The air was pollution free and I took deep long breaths from the freshness surrounding me. The park was a sight to behold. Since it was September, it marked the beginning of fall.

Even though it was six in the morning, the sun was beginning to embrace it's beloved people. With the birds chirping, the trees were blooming and the sight just swept me off my feet.

After few minutes of walking, something or someone caught my eye. It was more of a silhouette. Except for me and some yogis, the park would be absolutely empty at this hour in the morning. But seeing someone else at this hour, intrigued something in me.

I moved forward till I could get a good glimpse of the silhouette.I could see him jogging in the other end of the park. A well built tattooed body, physique that could drive anyone crazy. But there were fresh wounds over his body and it was stitched. Stitched recently!!

I approached him slowly and steadily from behind. He was sweating profusely which indicated that he had been here for quite sometime. His long yet short hair was left untied and clung to his body. I couldn't see his face yet, but expected something to suprise me.

One moment I was about to approach him and the other moment I found myself in a pit! Oh God! Who digs a pit in a park. It was really shallow and I was wincing with pain because of the sudden fall.

I heard someone laughing so loudly and I was damn sure it was at me.
Oh God! Not again.

"Is it your hobby to always be in trouble, and expect me to turn around and help?"

He finally managed to speak still holding his right hand towards me and the other clutching his stomach.

I didn't have words. I flushed. He always found me in helpless situations and always came to my aid. But I least expected our meetings like this. God forgive me,but he looked hell attractive when he laughed. He had an aura around himself that felt like nobody was to take him lightly.
