For some reason, seeing the same view didn't surprise him. The same grassy field with gorgeous flowers, a soft breeze grazing his skin, same warmth of the sunrays. Kenma closed his eyes and leaned his head back. He smiled to the sky, letting a content sigh pass his lips.

"You're here too I'm guessing?" He kept his eyes closed, though he felt the other's presence. The deep and familiar chuckle filled his ears as rough, yet soft, fingers ran over his neck gently, moving to his hair. Kenma gasped softly, opening his eyes to let two different shades of gold meet.

Kuroo stood behind him, looking down at his friend with a smile. "If you don't want me here, I can leave. But, like I said last time, I'm here because you wanted me here. Your heart brought me here to you."

Kenma didn't want to admit it but he was right, he did want him there. He closed his eyes and slowly fell backwards till his body was against the others.

"Answer something for me." Kenma looked forward, his way of distancing himself from the male. Kuroo hummed, raising an eyebrow.

"What do you want to know Kitten?" he moved his arms under Kenma's so he could hug him softly.

Kenma fidgeted a bit, trying to find a way to phrase it the right way. "What is this feeling? Why does it hurt when you don't look at me like you used too? I am finally starting to figure this out and you're not by my side anymore. It hurts.." he held his chest. He wasn't really talking about emotional pain, but physical. His chest and heart hurt, his stomach was upside down. He felt jealous, and he absolutely hated it.

Kuroo sighed. "Kenma.. I shouldn't be the one to tell you this. I am surprised though. With how smart you are, love is the thing that stumps you?" Kuroo let a soft laugh pass his lips as he squeezed the smaller boy softly.

"What? No it doesn't. You are my best friend. Love? I-I don't-" He was cut off by his body being spun around and something warm on his lips. He froze in his place, trying to understand the situation before relaxing, closing his eyes and kissing the other back.

All the worries that had been clouding his mind was gone in an instant. His heart was pounding out of his chest, his face was on fire, his mind and body moving on its own. Kuroo's lips fit into his like matching puzzle pieces. It felt so wrong, yet so.. Right?

Kenma rested his hands on the others chest just as Kuroo slowly pulled away from the kiss. He looked down at the smaller male with a smile. "Did you enjoy it?"

Kenma looked up at him embarrassed and down at their feet, nodding softly. "It.. It felt great actually." he smiled and looked up at him. "I did enjoy it, Tetsurō."

"Then, did you figure it out? This pain in your chest?" he moved his hands to cup the setters cheeks, caressing them with his thumb.

"I did.. I like you.. A lot. More than I honestly am comfortable to admit.." his eyes teared up and he tried looking away, only to be stopped by his hands. Kuroo placed a soft kiss on his head.

"Then let's take this slow. Start at your pace and work slowly till you're comfortable. Sound good Kitten?" Kuroo smiled at him, trying to get the male to relax. Kenma nodded his head softly before stopping and sighing.

"You aren't real Tetsu. You are a manifestation of my imagination. My brain created you to say this, to be like this, to like me; to tell me everything I want to hear. God, I want this to be real, but it's not. I am dreaming." He pushed Kuroo away from him, wrapping his own arms around himself.

Kuroo moved to him. "Kenma listen to me. I may be part of your brain but I control how this ends. I could have put you in a nightmare. But did I? No. Why? Because I love you. I don't say that as a being that you made up, I say that as a part of him. I say that as I am him. His memories, his feelings, his wants, his desires, his thoughts, his needs. I know it all Kenma." He reached out and grabbed Kenma's hands. "And I love you. Both him and I."

Kenma hugged him softly, making Kuroo hug him back. He sighed. "Kenma? I can't tell you this, he has to do it but he has news he wants to tell you, and you are not going to like it.." Kenma pulled back and looked at him.

"What do you mean?" There was no response. "Kuroo? Hey!" He grabbed a fist full of his shirt, and looked up at him. "Answer me. Please"

"You need to wake up Kenma.." He looked down at him sadly.

"Not until you answer me!" he shouted. Kuroo kissed him softly, making him calm down. A soft 'wake up' was heard right before Kenma's eyes shot open and he sat up quickly.

(🥀862 words. A short but semi emotional chapter I guess. Kenma finally came to terms with it. Comment your thoughts before moving on. Hope you enjoy it!! ~Mika🥀)
