"Hey, guys! Did we make you guys wait long?" Leo asked as he entered the sect leader's mansion.

"Not at all," Nehuy respectfully replied from inside the hall room.

"So, you now understood why I invited you guys here to watch right?" Leo called out to the squad leader.

"Yes. I think I got it. You don't have to worry. Your brother will be in capable hands. I'll personally look after him," the squad leader spoke assuring Leo that Lex would be alright.

"Good. Why don't you tell me your name? I might come to visit your kingdom sometime in the future."

"The name's Eya. I am one of the heads of the princess of Drunken Kingdom's personal guards," the squad leader replied.

"Who's the ruler of that kingdom?" Leo asked curiously.

"Our ruler is the venerable Drunken Immortal"

"Huh!" Leo suddenly shook in shock, "Drunken Immortal? The man who needs wine to survive?"

"Yes!" the squad leader was suddenly amazed, ' how does this boy know about him?'

"I see. I'd love to meet him one day. Wait... Hmm, is your kingdom a part of an empire?" Leo anxiously asked.

"Yes..." Eya replied confusedly.

"I see, that means that your kingdom is a part of the Jade empire that has eight kingdoms, right?"

"You! How did you know?" Eya asked with shock as she could not believe how Leo had come up with all of these correct assumptions.

"I read a lot of books. Anyhow, I'm sure that I will have to come to the Jade empire sometime soon," Leo replied as he tried to act mysterious.

"My brother should've woken up by now. I'm going to go see him," Leo suddenly said and began to walk to a corner of the hallroom where Lex was laid to rest.

"Heyo! Lex! Are you awake yet?" Leo suddenly spoke out to Lex who was still lying on the floor.

*no response*

"Wake up! I know you're awake for sure now!" Leo spoke as he stared intensely at Lex.

"Tch! I can't hide anything from you can I," Lex's complaining voice sounded as Lex started moving and he sat up to lean on the cold wall.

"Did you hear everything?" Leo asked.

"Yes, do I really have to go brother?" Lex asked as he seemed reluctant to leave.

"Lex, I know that you want to follow me but I think it's best for us to separate for a while. It will be protecting you for your own good," Leo explained.

"No! I want to stay with you. You are the strongest person I know. I'm sure you can protect me! Did you forget the promise you made to mum and dad?" Lex screamed as tears slowly began to well up in his eyes.

"I know, Lex. Let me explain, I'm not strong enough right now. And as we grow, I will meet stronger opponents and you will not have the chance to grow. So it is better for you like this. Don't worry, you are my brother so you can access the myriad nether mansion easily. We can talk and meet up there," Leo told Lex.

"Why!? I learn so much if you are with me! If I go there then I won't learn anything at all!" Lex complained.

"Lex!" Leo spoke with a louder tone, "I will come to see you. I am suffering from a disease called Heaven's wrath disease. I need to search around the world for this. So think of it as you helping me. Once, it is cured then I promise that I will take you anywhere you want to go. We will never be separated again."

"Disease?..." Lex slowly spoke as shock filled his mind and his tears suddenly stopped flowing. How could his brother, who was able to beat cultivators that were one realm higher than his, be suffering from a disease?

"Yes, so that's why I need you to do this for me. Do you think you can help your big brother out with this selfish little request?"

"Ok. I'll do it for you brother, do you promise to take me when you have cured your disease?" Lex replied as he was suddenly filled with energy and motivated.

"Yes, I promise," Lex smiled and pulled Lex into a long loving brother's hug.

"Lex?" Aurora's voice called out from behind Leo.

"Sis Aurie! Hey!" Lex greeted her.

"Since Leo has said everything, I have just one thing to say to you. Take care of Leila, she is younger than you and she just found out that she lost her family before going into this state. She will probably be in shock or confusion about it. Be her big brother, you must take care of her like how Leo takes care of me. Okay?" Aurora assertively asked.

"Ok. Yes, I'll make sure to take care of her," Lex promised.

"Ahem! Ahem!" Eya's voice interrupted.

"It's time to leave. I hope you guys have said your goodbyes," she told Lex.

"I put all of our money in your storage ring, spend it wisely!" Leo advised.

"Ok," Lex nodded.

And so, Leo, Aurora and Nehuy walked to the entrance to see the squad off.

Once the squad was gone from their field of view, Leo went to the sect leader and spoke to him, "Nehuy, thanks for letting us use your sect. Please continue to have your sect like this. Keep it welcoming and treat everyone kindly."

"It was my pleasure," Nehuy spoke as he bowed, receiving Leo's compliment.

Leo then reached inside his storage ring and brought out an art book and handed it to Nehuy.

"Here, this is repayment for you letting us stay in your sect and for protecting the village," Leo spoke as he warmly smiled.

"T-t-th-this i-is a p-pu-purple ranked art?!" Nehuy screamed in shock.

"Yep! It's called spider's destruction poison,"

Immediately, Nehuy bowed with utmost respect and thanked Leo, " thank you so much! Our sect can probably become a second grade sect in the lapis kingdom now. I shall never forget your benevolence, Master Leo," Nehuy loudly declared.

"Haha! It's fine. I need you to make another copy and give it to Drexler for me. I told him that I would give him a purple art," Leo added.

"Definitely, I will make sure Drexler get it,"

"Aurie, it's time for us to get going," Leo spoke as he reached out and grabbed Aurora's hand.

Aurora nodded and gave Leo a sweet warm smile that outshone everything in their surroundings. She abruptly turned to Nehuy and thanked him and the duo once again began their eventful journey.

"Off we go to the battlefield! Chya!!!!!!" Leo chanted.

"Hahahaha! Off we go to the battlefield! Chyaa!!!!" Aurora joined with laughter.
