"What why? Are you not having fun?" He smirked

"I just want to go home, I'm tired" I say

"What? How? You literally just woke up" he furrowed his eyebrows

"look I have to get to work and I'm so hanged over so I need my sleep" I say

"Fine, I'll let the sleeping beauty sleep" he laughed

I didn't respond, I just laid my head on the window and waited for him to start driving, from the corner I could see that Mattia was looking at me with a worried look on his face, he opened his mouth to say something but he never did, he just started driving

"You can drop me off in the same place you found me" I said and he laughed "What?" I say

"You think I'm going to let you wonder alone at who knows who's house that was" he said talking about Alyssas house where the party was at yesterday

"And You think I'm going to let a stranger know we're I live" I say

"Fair enough" he smirks

"Plus I left my car over there" I said

"You have a car ?" He asked

"Yes, I'm twenty one , and I work, I think I can afford a car" I smiled

"Sassy, I like it" he bits his lip

"Gross" I laugh making him laugh with me

I continued too look out the window the whole ride back to Alyssa's house, it took me a while to figure out he was going a whole different way

Soon the car came to a stop, we were now at a gas station "why are we here?" I asked

"It's a gas station why else would we be here ?" He raises his eyebrows "anyways I'll be right back, stay here" Mattia said and I nodded

"Where else would I go?"

He went inside the store and soon came out, he put some gasoline and then went back in the store and came out with a bag and a big smile

"Look what I got" he said as he got inside the car

Does this dude not get the hint that I don't want to be his friend, I do appreciate what he did for me but I just want to go home

"Here I got this for you" he said passing me a fruit punch Arizona and a lunchable "I got
Some for myself too but I got a ice tea Arizona" he said taking it out the bag

He soon took a lunchable out the bag and passed it to me

"What is this?" I say as I raise a eyebrow

"Lunch" he said

"Appreciate it but I'm not hungry plus I want to go home" I said

"Come on I already bought it" he pleaded

"Fine, only because fruit punch Arizona is my favorite" I said

"Noted" he smiled "glad I picked the right choice" he said "So do you put the cheese first or the ham?" He asked

"I don't think it matters" I laugh

"Oh it matters" he said making me laugh

"I just put the cookie first, of course, and then the ham and cheese and then another cookie" I say as I made one

"You call them cookies" he laughs "their crackers" he said while I just shrug my shoulders

"Fine, crackers!" I say "better?"

"Yes" he laughed "if it's fine with you we can finish eating before I drop you off" he said "I know you really want to go home but I—"

"It's fine with me, we can finish eating first" I smile at him as I interrupted him

"Meanwhile why don't we get to know each other ?" He said as he turned to face me

"I don't know" I say "who knows if we will ever see each other again"

"Then let's just hope I find you knocked out at a party again" he laughed

"Fine then so How old are you?" I asked As I took a sip of my Arizona

"Twenty three" he responded

"Cool, your two years older then me" I say "now your turn"

"Do you still live with your parents ?" He asked "or are you a mommy's girl" he laughed but I didn't say anything

He looked at me and notice the change of mood "sorry did I say something wrong?" He said

"No it's just, I don't have a mom" I said "she past away"

"Shit, I'm sorry" he said

"It's fine, you didn't know" I say "let's just change the subject, do you work?"

"Not really" he said "well someone like that I guess I don't know " he finished

"Something like that? How can something like that get you a car like this ?" I said looking around

he had a very nice car and a very nice car usually means it costed a lot of money

"Well that something is good paying, and it's also called saving up" he said as let out a small laugh

"Okay my bad" I laughed

"It's my turn again" he said "Whats your biggest fear" he asked

"Dying" I said

"Dying?" He repeated

"You heard me" I said

"Why though?" He asked 

"Well I'm not scared of dying itself but if I die I'm going to leave my dad all alone and that hurts me" I said breaking our eye contact "he already lost my mom, I'm all he has left"

Mattia grabbed me by my chin and made me look at him, he leaned in and hugged me tightly, at first I was taken back by it but then I took in his fragrance laid my head on his neck and hugged him back

"Thanks" I said as he hugged me tighter

"okay where here" Mattia said as he parked the car

"Thanks for today" I smiled as I took of my seat Belt off

"Of course" he said with a smile

"Bye" I said as I opened the door to get out, as I was going to close the door Mattia spoke up

"Hey do you think I can get you number?" He asked

"Thanks for the ride" I smile "like you said let's hope you find me knocked out at a party again" I said as I closed the door and walked to my car
