I was once again outside rolling another blunt when I got a phone call, I took my phone out of my pocket to see it was now twelve am and it was my dad calling me

Shit, I breath in slowly, my dad will kill me if he knew I was partying and wasn't close to being sober

"I'll be back guys" I said to the group of people who were with me

I quickly making it inside the house and walked into the bathroom "hello" I said trying to sound as normal as I can

"I thought you weren't going to answer" my dad said

"Well It is twelve in the morning but your still my dad so I need to answer, you woke me up from my beauty sleep" I lie

"I'm sorry I just wanted to make sure you were fine with Alyssa" he said

"Yeah we're okay" I say "why?"

"Well we got a noise complain from this weird warehouse and we investigated and found that those three murders were there but with a women this time"

I froze, my skin turned red, and I felt chills down my spine

"We don't know anything about the women but I just wanted to tell you so you and Alyssa be aware and not trust no one" my dad added

"Of course, thanks" I said as normal as I could

"We're getting closer and closer each day to catching those killers" my dad said

"That's good" I say

"Yeah, I'll see you soon I should let you go so you can have some rest" my dad said "bye honey"

"Bye dad" I said and hanged up

I put my phone down and washed my hands

Fuck, my dad will kill me if he knew who I was hanging around with! He works so hard to keep me safe and when he finds out what I've been doing he's going to be so upset

I need to find Mattia and tell him I can't do this anymore

I dry my hands, pick up my phone, and quickly get out the bathroom

I look around in the kitchen and in the living room but Mattia was nowhere to be found

"You look like your looking for someone, Is it me ?" Alyssa said causing me too turn around

"Actually I was looking for Mattia, have you seen him" I say

"Wow, Mattia steps in your life and all of a sudden you forget about your best friend" she says

"Nobody forgot about you" I let out a small laugh "but I really need to talk to him" I say

"I think I saw him outside" she said

"Thank you" I smile before making my way outside

"Took you long enough to come back, here" a girl that I was smoking with had said as she passed me a blunt

I look around and saw Mattia wasn't here, he must've just gotten inside

I pause before I take the blunt from her

"Sit down, we're doing a rotation" a guy who was sitting in a chair said

"I'm kinda busy but just for a while" I say

That was not for a while, we've smoke two blunts and we were outside for at least an hour, I'm not sure I lost track of time

"Fuck" I whisper to myself as my vision became blurrier and it became harder for me to walk

"I heard you've been looking for me—whoa you look higher than a kite" Mattia said

"Where were you?" I say as I look at him

"Around" he answered "do you need me to drive you home?" He asked

"No im fine, I'm sleeping over" I said "I'm going to the bathroom"

"I'm coming with" Mattia said

"I'm not really in the mood but I'm down" I say joking around

"To watch over you" Mattia flinched "there's a lot of weird guys here"

"I'm just going to go fix my hair" I said

"Don't care, no girl should be walking around alone as high as you are right now"

"Okay, okay"

Mattia kept his eyes on me all the way to the bathroom

I kept the door open and Mattia stayed right outside the door watching me

I add a little bit of water to my hair then ran my fingers through my hair

Mattia walked inside the bathroom and locked the door

He got closer to me, I turned around and we were now face to face

"So why were you looking for me?" Mattia said

"I don't want to work for you guys anymore" I said nervously "my dad knows that there's a girl working with you guys, he'll be so upset with me if he finds out I'm the one working for you"

Mattia lays his hands on my hips giving me butterflies

"Your not going to get caught, trust me, do you trust me?" He asks

"Yes, yes I do" I say

"Good" he smiles "i trust you too"

I didn't say anything, neither did Mattia

He moved one of his hands and put it in my cheek, he moved closer to my face and so did I

Wtf is going on with vic and mattia!! Is Mattia really going to be a dad !!!!
