It's Thursday and tomorrow is the last day before second semester. Masyadong stressful ang Senior High school life dahil sa sunod sunod na requirements namin. Since matatapos na ang hell week at magse-semestral break na next week, I was planning to spend the weekend with my boyfriend, Kiel before we go to Ilocos.

"Kumusta naman kayo ni bebe mo?" Tanong sa akin ni Savi. We are at Basteakoy again, palaging tambayan ng barkada. We would go here after our afternoon classes or kapag Sundays. This is our favorite hangout place.

"We're okay, going strong naman." I answered then took a sip from my avocado shake.

"Kayo?" I raised a brow on her.

"Okayer than okay." She explained then took a bite on her sandwich.

"Anong plano niyo this sembreak?" Tanong ko sa tropa na abala sa pag-kain.

"Punta kami Cebu." Agad na sagot naman ni Zhanisse.

"Wow sana all outside Luzon." Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Liam habang sinasabi iyon. Zhanisse just gave him a wide smile.

"Sis, sana all nga! Sa Isabela kami eh." Sabat ni Savi.

"Kayo Vien?" Tanong ni Savi sa akin.

"Ah, Ilocos again." I answered then let out a sigh. Marami kaming relatives doon since taga doon naman si papa dati sa Laoag kaya palaging doon ang punta namin tuwing sembreak. Kabisado ko na rin ang mga lugar doon eh.

"Wow ah! Girl we were planning to go in there kaso sabi ni mama gusto niya something new daw." Wika ni Savi. Her mom lives in Ilocos in her maiden days. Kaya when we both go to Ilocos during sembreaks, we would see each other and go out and eat. The reason why Savi and I are close. She would be my food trip buddy in Laoag.

"Eh wala na naman akong kasabay mag-Inasal pag ganun." I pouted. Nasanay na rin kasi akong palaging kasama si Savi during sembreaks.

"Girl, kaya mo naman mag-isa doon eh!" She laughed. "And as if naman gusto kita samahan sa Mang Inasal, you will always call the waiter and ask for lots of rice. Nakakahiya, jusko ka!" She rolled her eyes and laughed after but I glared at her. Alam niyang matakaw ako sa rice eh.

"Matakaw sa kanin pero hindi naman tumataba." Liam laughed.

"ha ha, very funny Liam." Inirapan ko siya pero nagpatuloy pa rin siya sa pagtawa.

"You're a walking stick with lots of rice in the tummy." Kai laughed. I just don't get why he loves to tease me. "Kaya ang laki laki ng tiyan mo eh!" He continued, still laughing at me.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes on him.

"Eh saan naman punta niyo Liam?" tanong ni Savi sa kanya.

"Baka sa bahay lang. 'Di ko alam, hindi naman ako nagplaplano eh." Sagot ni Liam habang sinisipsip ang straw ng kanyang Mango Shake.

"Ikaw Kai? Out of the country ulit kayo?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Zhanisse. In the group, Kai and Zhan are born rich kids. They would spend their vacations outside the country or other places of the country. Their family own a lot of businesses here in Cagayan and in Manila kaya nakakapagtravel din sila kapag may business meetings parents nila.

"I don't know. I hope dito lang sa Pilipinas, kapagod pumunta sa ibang bansa." Kai said with his cold and deep voice then looked away.
