Alex's p.o.v
"Hello!"
"Alex, where are you?" My dad's panicked voice beamed.
"I'm at the club! Why?" I asked and I heard heavy breathing.
"You need to get out of there now! They're planing to attack the club!" He said.
"WHAT?!" Bloody hell! I needed to get Annie and the others out of here.
"We don't know how much time you have on your hands! You have to leave now! I have already called Shawn and he said that they have left a while ago." Dad elaborated.
"I'll call once I'm on my way!" I said and ended the call.
I barged inside and started looking around hoping to see Annie. She wasn't on the dance floor, nor at the bar.
I went to the bathrooms but she wasn't there. Frustrated and worried I ran a hand through my hair. I climbed on top of a table and told everyone to leave. I didn't plan on leaving innocent people to die because of me.
Go now! My dad texted me.
I started walking out when I spotted one of Annie's earrings on the floor. I grabbed it and put it on my pocket.
I went to my car and noticed a black van a few feet away driving away. I only hoped that my princess was alright. But hoping is the last thing you do when you're part of this world.
I envied the people my age! They were free to do whatever they wanted, go wherever they liked! The only things they had to worry about was passing their finals and getting a decent job. Meanwhile I was stuck in a world where instead of a pen to write with, you were handed a gun to learn how to defend yourself.
A text woke me up from my daze. I unlocked my phone and saw a picture that would stay carved in my mind forever: Annie was tied up unconscious inside of a vehicle I couldn't decipher much due to the darkness. These guys seriously needed some photography lessons.
I sped home and barged inside. I couldn't waste time. Every second was precious and crucial!
"Dad? Shawn?" I yelled and they appeared immediately in front of me. "Annie has been kidnapped!"
"WHAT?!" I heard Shawn yell. "How the heck did that happen?"
"Look, we don't have time to argue! They sent me a picture of her from her phone two minutes ago. If I can track her mobile, I might be able to find her." I confessed.
"That can only work if they haven't thrown it away by now!" Dad reasoned.
"Yes, but she has a track on her earrings as well!" Shawn smirked.
"Then, get me a laptop! We're getting her back tonight!" I said and soon enough I was handed a black laptop.
After a few minutes of typing, I was able to trace her current location. I saved the address on my phone and then turned the laptop towards Shawn and my dad.
"Bingo!" I smiled proudly.
"Good job! Maybe you're not such an idiot after all!" I heard Angela say but I let it go.
"Get ready! We're going to get Annie back!" I turned to go change but dad stopped me.
"Alex, we can't go right now! We don't know how many they are or if and how much armed are they! We just have a possible location!"
I rolled my eyes at his words but I knew that he was right. It was too risky to go tonight without a proper plan.
"Fine! But we're going first thing tomorrow morning!" I announced and went to my room. I had made a promise to my princess and to her father and I intended on keeping it.
