Annie's p.o.v

Damn him for leaving me like this! Hell to every cell of my body that wanted him! My mind was wild with thoughts of him as I got ready.

"Are you ready to go?" My devil asked.

"Yes!" I grabbed my car keys and walked past him.

"Don't run from me, love!" He put his hand on the small of my back. "I mean no harm!"

"Why did you get the impression that I was running from you?" I turned to ask him.

Probably because you were doing just that!

My subconsciousness pointed out.

"Do you really want me to answer you?" He gave me a knowing look.

"Yes!" I opened the door of my car getting into the passanger's seat. Didn't feel like driving when my mind was filled with him.

"You ran away because you are afraid!" He stated starting the engine.

"Really?" I furrowed my brows. "Of what?"

"You are afraid let yourself feel! To be happy! Because you blame yourself for every messed up thing that has ever happened to you or your loved ones! You don't want to be happy because you think that you don't deserve it, but guess what?" Even though his hands were on the wheel, his eyes never left mine. "You are loved by so many people! That should count for something, don't you agree?"

"They don't know the real me!" I whispered.

"Who is the real you?"

"She is someone with a dark mind and no soul, who enjoyed the pain from killing that man! The nightmares are her home, the one place she is truly free! She's a cold blooded murderer and I hate her!" I freed myself.

"What about her heart?" He asked listening carefully.

"She has no heart!" I stated. "What about you? How many skeletons do you have in your closet?"

"Only one!" His eyes shifted to the road. "She was someone who never wanted to be part of this world. The simple life was her ultimate dream."

"What happened to her?" I asked.

"She fell in love with me and died."

Silence followed after his statement. It was truly unbelievable how we went from making out on my bed to pouring our deepest secrets to each other.

"We're here!" He turned off the engine.

Getting out of the car, we were met with Max, who had been waiting for us with a cup of coffee on his hand.

"Good morning! Did you sleep well?" He winked at me referring to Alex.

"I woke up with your voice as my alarm sound! You're lucky I haven't killed you yet!" I said and he chuckled.

"You love me! Your heart won't let you do it!" He grinned.

"But mine will!" Alex wrapped a hand around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"And you are?" Max asked intrigued.

"Alex Doherty, her boyfriend!" He stressed the last word.

Did he really just introduce himself as my boyfriend? Men and their jealousy!

"Should we start with the photo shoot?" I interfered.

"Yes, go to the back room! The clothes should be there." Max said setting up the equipment.

I went to the room and skimmed through the outfits. Grabbing the first one, I put it on and glanced at myself in the floor length mirror.
