Unexpected Love

Chapter 18

Ann-Kathrin's P. O. V.

Anna, my mom, Mandy, Montana and I are all at the bridal store right now so I can try on wedding dresses. I really want a mermaid style dress but I'm willing to try anything

3 Hours Later

I finally found the dress! It is a gorgeous mermaid dress (pictured above) and I couldn't love it more! I knew it was the dress the minute I put it on.

The girls and I are having lunch at Amour. It's a beautiful Italian restaurant.

While we're eating, paparazzi forms outside. They take pictures of us through the window and start shouting, "Ann-Kathrin, is it true you lost a baby?" "Is it true you had a mental breakdown as a result of the death of your baby?" "Are you out buying a wedding dress today?"

Mandy sighs, "C'mon guys, let's just go."

We all walk out and I shield my face as I push through the paparazzi.

After my day with the girls, I go home. I'm keeping the wedding dress at my mom's so Mario doesn't sneak a peek.

I walk inside to see Mario laying on the couch with a blanket on. I walk over to him, "Are you alright?"

Mario sighs, "I don't feel well. "

I lean down and kiss his forehead, which in burning. I sit up, "Mario, you are burning up. You have a fever. "

I stand up and go into the kitchen, grabbing Mario some ginger ale, crackers and some Tylenol.

I go back to Mario and give everything to him.

Mario smiles, "Thank you. "

I nod, "Of course. C'mon, let's get you to bed. "

Mario walks into the bedroom, getting into bed. I pull the covers up over him and lean down, kissing him.

Mario pulls away, "Don't kiss me on the lips. I'll get you sick. "

I shrug, "I don't care. I love you and I want to kiss you. "

I lean down and try to kiss Mario again. But this time, he let's me. The kiss starts to get a little more heated than I planned so I pull away and run my hand through his hair, "You need to rest. If there's anything you need, just call me, okay?"

Mario grabs my hand, kissing my
Knuckles, "Okay. I love you. "

I smile as I walk out of the room, "And I love you. Hope you feel better soon."

When I close the bedroom door and go into the living room, I call Mandy and Montana. Inviting them over.

Mandy and Montana have been here for a little while. We've been drinking wine, watching Scandal and laughing.

Scandal is our favorite show. It's so amazing. The girls and I are getting into another episode when I hear Mario say my name.

I look at Mandy, "Pause it. I'll be back."

I go into the bedroom to see Mario sitting up, watching tv. I sit on the edge of the bed, "Are you okay?"

Mario nods, "Yeah. would you mind making me some soup, though?"

I smile and set my hand on his cheek, "I'd love too. Is chicken noodle okay?"

Mario nods as I walk out into the kitchen. I put the soup on the stove and
Go back to Mandy and Montana.

"He wanted some soup. You can hit play. "

We watch scandal until I take Mario his soup. When I come back out, it's pretty late so Mandy and Montana leave.

I clean everything up then put on my pajamas, crawling into bed. Mario walks up and smiles, "Hi beautiful."

I grin as he grabs my waist, "Hi Mario. How are you feeling?"

His grip on my waist tightens, "Better now that you're here. "

Mario starts kissing my neck but I push him away, "Mario, no. You're sick and you need to rest. Goodnight and feel better. "

Mario kisses my forehead, "Goodnight love. "

I roll over and close my eyes, trying to fall asleep. It takes me awhile, because I'm worrying about Mario, but I end up falling asleep.
