Chapter 22

Ann-Kathrin's P. O. V.

8 1/2 Months Later

I'm still pregnant! 8 1/2 months! I could pop any day now. I'm hoping I make it to my due date though. I don't want to have my baby premature.

I'm having a boy! Let me tell you, when Mario found out we were having a boy, he went crazy. Then he told his team and they went crazy! He's so excited to have a boy. And I'm excited for Mario to have a boy to teach football too.

I haven't been leaving the house very often. It's been a tough pregnancy. I had terrible morning sickness, terrible aches and pains.

Mario has been really great. He hasn't gone anyway except to training and to get me whatever I wanted. He's been so great. I really couldn't ask for a better fiancé.

We're getting married in 3 months. I'm so excited. Everything is set up and now all we have to do it wait for 3 months.

Mario and I haven't been better. We haven't fought, we love each other and we're closer than ever. I love him so much.

I just got dressed because Mario and I are meeting his family for dinner. Mario walks in, "Ready baby?"

I nod and take his hand as we go out to the car. Mario sets his hand on my thigh while he drives.

When we get to the restaurant, we walk in and greet his family. His mom hugs me, "Ann, you look amazing. You have that pregnancy glow about you. "

Mario kisses my cheek, "If I plugged her nose and blew in her mouth, that baby would just pop right out. "

I playfully hit him, "Trust me, I'm more than ready to get this baby out of me. I know Mario can't wait to have a son. "

Fabian says, "Ann-Kathrin, you should name your baby after me. "

I laugh as Mario says, "Fabian, quit being a creep. We are not naming him after you. "

Fabian crosses his arms sits back, pouting. We order and once our food comes, we all eat.

While we're talking, I start to feel like I'm having a contraction. I grab my stomach and shut my eyes through the pain. Then, I feel my water break. Great, this couldn't have happened at a better time.

I grab Mario's hand, "Mario, my water just broke. "

everyone looks at me with wide eyes. Then they all jump up at the same time. Mario's mom says, "Go, Mario. We'll meet you at the hospital. I'll call Ann's mom. "

Mario quickly drives me to the hospital. We rush in and I'm immediately put into a room. The doctor comes in and checks me out, "You're ready to push. On the count of three, ready? One- two- three- push!

I grit my teeth, shut my eyes and push as hard as I can.

I push a few more times then the doctor says, "He's out. Oh, what a beautiful baby boy. "
