Unexpected Love

Chapter 21

Ann-Kathrin's P. O. V.

     Mario and I have been in Paris for a few hours. We've been walking around the streets, just taking everything in. Mario looks at me, "Let's go back to the hotel and relax for awhile. Then we can
Go somewhere nice for dinner tonight."

I smile, "That sounds great. "

We go back to the hotel and take naps. When we wake up, I shower and do my makeup, changing in to a nice outfit. Mario showers and changes.

When we're all ready, we walk to a restaurant and go inside. Mario and I both order escargot. We've never had it to we decided to try it.

Escargot is actually really good. After dinner, we had dessert and now we're walking around again. Mario and I go to the Eiffel Tower and go up. When we get to the top, I suck in a breath.

"This is amazing!"

Mario walks up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and setting his chin on my shoulder, "Yeah. It is. Paris is a beautiful place. "

I smile, "Yes It is. The view is absolutely breathtaking. "

Mario kisses my neck, "Now you know how I felt when I saw you for the first time. "

I laugh and turn around in his arms, pecking him on the lips, "You Are smooth. "

Mario smirks as I lay my head on his shoulder and wrap my arms around his neck. There's a man playing the violin so Mario and I sway to the music.

I say in his ear, "Thank you. For bringing me here. "

Mario kisses below my ear, "I wouldn't want to spend this trip with anyone but you. "

I bite my lip, "Mario, there's something I have to tell you. "

Mario hums in response so I continue, "I found out right before we left. I haven't said anything to anyone yet. But, I'm pregnant. "

Mario pulls away and looks at me with a smile on his face, "You're serious?!"

I laugh, "Of course I am. I wouldn't joke about something like this. "

Mario kisses me then picks me up, spinning me around, "This is amazing!"

I grab his hand, "We need to calm down. We can't get to excited. I may have another miscarriage. "

Mario shakes his head, "Nope, don't say that. You aren't going to miscarriage. I have this amazing feeling that we are going to bring a boy into this world. A beautiful baby boy. "

I raise my brows and laugh, "A boy? Wow, you have quite the imagination. But I hope it's a boy, for you. "

Mario grins and bends down, kissing my belly and saying, "I love you, son or daughter. I'll love you no matter what. So don't leave your mommy and I. We can't lose another baby. We can't wait to meet you. "

I'm crying by the time Mario stands back up. I pull him into a hug, "I am so happy. There's no words. "

Mario grins, "I'm happy too, baby. I'm happy too. "
