Unexpected Love

Chapter 5

Ann-Kathrin's P. O. V.

Once the boys are done with training, they all go into the changing room. Mandy follows the in there but I stay out on the field. I lay down and stare up at the sky. A few minutes later, someone lays down next to me. I look to see Mario laying there. I smile, "hi" he laughs, "hi, gorgeous. What are you doing out here?" I shrug, "I don't know. I just didn't feel like going in there with everyone. Especially Manuel. " Mario sits up, pulling me up with him, "Babe, you can't let him get to you. He's just jealous that I got you first. " I smile as he leans forward, kissing me. He says against my lips, "The gala dinner is tonight. " I smile, "I know the perfect dress. " He laughs and stands up, pulling me up with him. We walk out to the parking lot, hand in hand.
Mario leads me to his car and we start driving. Mario looks at me, "do you want me to take you by your place and you can get your stuff then get ready at my place?" I smile, "Sure" I give him directions to my house. We walk inside and Mario looks around, "This is really nice. " I smile, "Thank you. Just make yourself comfortable while I go get everything." I go into my room and grab my dress, shoes and jewelry then I pack all my makeup. I walk out, "Okay. I'm ready. " We drive to Mario's house. When we walk in, he says, "We still have a little time before we have to get ready. Want to watch a movie?" I smile, "Sounds good" We cuddle up on his couch and watch Gone Girl. Once the movie is over, I say, "Can I go shower?" He nods, "The guest bathroom is down that hall. " I smile, "Thank you. "
I go shower then dry my hair, straightening it. I do my makeup and put on my dress, my blazer and clutch purse with my black strappy heels. When I walk out of the bathroom, Mario is standing there In a black suit looking incredibly handsome. He turns around and looks at me, "Wow. You are gorgeous. " I smile and wrap my arms around his neck, "Thank you. And you are incredibly handsome. " He smiles and kisses me, "Ready?" I nod. We get in his car and drive to the gala. When we get there, before we go inside, we stop to pose for some pictures (picture up top)
