When Gwyneth woke up in Adelyn's bed, she was alone. Hugging a pillow so tight it might burst. She sat down while rubbing her eyes gently, looking at the side to see the curtains wide open and the shut window that's still moist from the rain last night.

After stretching her arms, she walked out of the room as if its her own, walking to the kitchen to heat water for her coffee to see Adelyn eating a half a bagel with a generous amount of cream cheese on top with a cup of coffee beside the plate. She was startled to see her roommate looking blankly at the cream colored carpet in the living room. When she finally grabbed a cup, that's when Adelyn greeted her softly.

"Good morning. You woke up pretty early today." Adelyn said before biting on the bagel.

"Well, you weren't beside me so," she paused, thinking of words to say. "What time is it?"

Adelyn shrugged, twisting her body towards Gwyneth's direction. "Around 9, I think. I'm not sure. I just woke up feeling hungry."

It was so typical of Adelyn to do exactly just that, it made Gwyneth chuckle. They've been living together since the start of college, even before when they were kids. They would always sleep over at each other's house that they practically lived in it. Still, Gwyneth doesn't get tired of Adelyn's habits and mannerisms. She still finds it adorable.

"You're cute." Gwyneth said, sitting down in front of Adelyn. She grabbed the other half of the bagel, spreading a thin coat of cream cheese on the half and dipping the other in coffee.

"You got any plans today?"

"Nah. It rained last night so even if I did, I'd cancel it. Kinda wanna laze today."

"Same. Wanna sleep and just order instead?" Adelyn offered, already knowing what Gwyneth was thinking.

"Love the way you think baby." Gwyneth winked at the girl in front of her while the other just laughed at her actions.

The original plans that the two girls made — sleep and order food instead — were down the drain now as the both of them decided to invite their friends instead. At first, Gwyneth was reluctant to let Adelyn call their friends over since she wants to spend some time alone with the person she likes. Maybe cuddle a little under the soft duvet in the living room, rewatching thriller movies that still makes herself jump so she can use that as an excuse to scoot closer to Adelyn but, she didn't want to be too obvious. So, she had to force herself to stop whining and call their friends herself.

Even so, Blake was surprised to receive a call from Gwyneth at 5 in the afternoon during a weekend, asking him and his boyfriend to come over at their place. No, actually he was confused. Because he knows that Gwyneth would definitely use this free day as an excuse to stick herself to her crush, but she ended up calling him. Quinn then reminded him that maybe Adelyn suggested the idea and Gwyneth would be too quick to agree to it, seeing as to how whipped that girl is.

Meanwhile, London was in the middle of painting her nails while bopping to Jonas Brothers when Gwyneth called her over. She planned on not going but when she remembered the box of alcohol in her pantry that will soon be forgotten, she quickly finished drying her nails under the hair dryer.

Soon enough, the five friends; Gwyneth, Adelyn, Blake, Quinn, and London were sitting on the living room floor, listening to music and drinking alcohol, while talking about their second year college struggles. It came to a point in their conversation where London was talking about the guys she's dated so far in and out of the university, and telling the two other girls that she can hook them up with someone she knows.

"Thanks for the offer London but you should know that I'm gay, right?" Gwyneth said with a chuckle. Yep. London is quite tipsy.

"Aw. I forgot how not straight you are. Honestly you don't even give off the lesbian vibe that much. Just a tinie winy bit," London said with a slight slur to her tone.

"I mean, should I?" Gwyneth piqued, leaning slightly towards London with the excuse of pouring more alcohol in her cup.

"Duh! Especially if you want a girlfriend! You know, I think I actually know a few people from the guys I've dated lately. Maybe you even know them!" London said, slowly putting the cup in front of her before digging for her phone inside her bag.

Honestly, just how tipsy was this girl?

Adelyn squirmed uncomfortably in her place as Gwyneth looks over at London's phone where London is scrolling quite fast through her contacts and messages. She felt weird that her best friend looked interested in one of London's ideas. She's not uncomfortable with the fact that her best friend's a lesbian. She's known that for years already. She just feels strange, in general.

"H-hey don't isolate yourselves like that! I invite you over and you two just mind your business? That seems kind of unfair." Adelyn butts in to the two with a pout, that Gwyneth soon realized what she was doing and sat back down beside her.

Whereas London scrunched her eyebrows at what Adelyn said. She wants to say a lot of things just because of that. She really does. But then, chooses not to.

London definitely heard the jealous undertone in her words. Hell, even Blake and Quinn felt it. The other three filled up their glasses with alcohol and ice as Gwyneth fills Adelyn's glass with a decent amount of beverage wheres she pours her glass to the brim. London saw how Adelyn's stiff shoulders melted down in relief when Gwyneth poured her attention on Adelyn as the blue eyed girl started to talk about that one time in her class.

"I don't know if both of them are stupid or oblivious. I'm honest to god, hurting for them." Quinn whispered in London's ear, reading her mind.

"Cheers to that my gay icon."
