It had been hours since they had left the border of The Kingdom Of Celestine, they had ran across the fields and thankfully for the knight the prince was too scared to complain. Now thought Constantine was complaining how he needed to rest and he needed food.

Lloyd sighed to himself it wasn't dark yet and they needed to cover more ground before they set up camp, he didn't need the Prince whining like a child.

"We need to stop, I'm your Prince and I demand it," Constantine demanded his voice carrying over the large wood they were walking through, though this was nothing compared to the infamous forest of foreboding it would still be easy to get lost in.

"Shh my Prince we have no idea what manner of beings call this place home," Lloyd whispered looking around him, as one of the older knights he knew not to drop his guard, and he could almost feel the fey magic here.

"How dare you knight?" The Prince retorted stamping his foot looking like every bit the spoilt brat he had become. Not a good look for anyone, though the people at the palace had indulged him, Lloyd knew that beyond the Kingdom the Prince wouldn't be so lucky.

"You're funny, never seen such a pompous twit," A voice laughed from one of the trees and Lloyd looks up to see a youth in a sage jerkin over tight fitting trousers. The youths knee high boots looked well worn but something told Lloyd that they were expensive and despite their tattered state Lloyd could see they were well crafted. The boy in the tree was without doubt of fey decent; if nothing else he had pointed ears.

"How dare you?" The Prince spat demanding that Lloyd should teach the boy a lesson on the end of his sword, though Lloyd wasn't about to teach a random teenager in a tree a lesson with anything let alone his sword.

"Careful you spoilt Prince, I don't respond well to threats," The boy grinned. Lloyd noted how sweet the boy looked. Like a charming picture of an urchin with apple perfect cheeks and large cheerful eyes. His hair a dark brown, and looked like he was letting it grow out.

"Really and what a peasant like you going to do about it, stab him Lloyd, stab him right in the belly"

"Oh yes try it Lloyd," The boy said in a sing  song voice and Lloyd come feel the magic in the air growing stronger and Lloyd fancied he could almost taste it.

"Ragamuffin get down from the tree," Another voice interrupted and Lloyd turned to face a tall elf, slim but with powerful ripcord muscles, his head was shaved on one side showing off the black lines of a tattoo, the rest of his black hair was kept long and held back in a ponytail.

"Aww Hodge you ain't any fun," The fey boy said easily climbing down and pouting slightly.

"Ragamuffin you're nineteen only two years younger than me start acting like it," Hodge grinned before turning to look at Prince Constantine and removing his own sword, "And you threaten one of my subjects again I will cut you from navel to nose, but threaten Ragamuffin again you will spend days in the dungeons and I will make you beg for death,"

"How dare you? I'm the Prince of The Kingdom of Celestine," The Prince growled looking just like the pompous twit Ragamuffin had described. Lloyd wanted to tell the Prince to shut up as this elf aura reeked of danger.

"And I'm Hodge, Assassin Prince. Men tie up these humans while I decide what to do them,"

Lloyd hadn't even noticed the elves in the trees until the back of his knees were being kicked so he fell and both he and Prince Constantine were being hogged tied and carried back to the Assassin Elves village like they were just hunted down like pigs. This, Lloyd thought was not a good turn of events.
