Gorg, Ragamuffin's guardian
Lloyd watched as Morag drank her large mug of ale in one go. He hadn't seen many orcs before and now faced with Morag he realised how big they were. She dwarfed Hodge who like most elves was over six foot.
"Morag is strong, Morag should go on quest," Morag suddenly said, Lloyd knew that Constantine wanted to object but he doubted he would dare say anything, for that matter neither did Lloyd, she looked like she might fight bears in her spare time.
"Big green is right, if there's any trouble she's a good fighter," Ragamuffin nodded getting a smile from the orc that looked like a grimace with her misshaped fanged teeth.
"That's right and I can make sure you're treating my faerie prince right, maybe I might find my own faerie prince on our travels," Morag nodded and Lloyd yet againwondered how an orc and faerie couple would actually work.
"Or maybe a nice orc," Hodge smiled drinking his own ale.
"No, Morag likes faerie boys; they are cute and easy to carry,"
Hodge shook he head but with a smile, he wanted to say not many faerie men wanted to be carried about like dolls, but it wouldn't be the first time he lifted Ragamuffin bridal style and the faerie didn't seem to mind. Maybe Morag could find a faerie man that liked strong women, well really strong women. Women that could punch holes in brick walls with their bare fists. Yeah, Hodge thought she would have to find a faerie man that liked really strong women.
"Is skinny man going," She said pointing at Constantine who was too scared to object being called the skinny man.
"Yes we need the humans," Hodge sighed, he actually didn't mind Lloyd, he still didn't trust him but he didn't actually dislike him. Constantine though he would never like.
"He doesn't look strong for a quest,"
"Hey wait you taking him with you he's tiny," Constantine said pointing at Ragamuffin but shutting up quickly as he got a growl from both Morag and Hodge.
"Actually my magic is strong and once in the forest I can summon my guardian," Ragamuffin smiled. Lloyd nodded at this, he did have to agree with the Prince though Ragamuffin was tiny, and seated between a six foot something elf and seven foot something orc he looked even smaller.
"Gorg is strong and can fight anything, even me," Morag said her yellow eyes moving from one human to the next.
"Wait who's Gorg?" Lloyd asked
"Gorg is the guardian I can call. He looks like a bear but walks like a man, he's a fierce warrior,"
"So you can summon a monster?" Constantine asked his early smug air returning.
"Gorg isn't a monster, he's a guardian and a noble friend," Ragamuffin glared and for the first time using his magic to send a mug of ale sailing into the Prince's lap making the Prince let out a high pitch scream.
"You got to understand in faerie culture if they have a guardian the guardian will be both like a child and a parent to them. Ragamuffin raised Gorg since he was cub, that mighty warrior was once a tiny ball of fluff, now Gorg keeps an eye on Ragamuffin,"
Ragamuffin looked up as the dwarf woman from the bar came over, her large hands on her wide hips as she looked at them all while frowning.
"Why ya throwing beer?"
"Sorry miss he called my guardian a monster, it won't happen again," Ragamuffin said making himself look as innocent as possible.
"Silly string bean human, it's not wise to call a faerie's guardian a monster, that's how you get cursed," She shook her head. "Maybe I should show to your rooms before string bean causes anymore trouble, don't want no human covered in pox here because of a faerie curse,"
They all nodded at this agreeing to meet Morag in the morning as the dwarf led them to their rooms.
