Hodge smiled when he got to his rooms, and as he had predicted they was a Ragamuffin sized mound under the furs and blankets of his bed so he tried to be quiet as he started to remove his armour and leathers stretching out his muscled body.

"Hodge?" Ragamuffin said sleepily sitting up, his leaf green eyes looking heavy with sleep.

"Did I wake you my heart?"

"I don't sleep through having an incredibly hot elf in my room," Ragamuffin grinned making a show of looking Hodge up and down.

"And could a faerie mage handle a elf warrior like myself," Hodge growled playfully as he crawled across the bed pulling the blanket and furs away from his husband before lifting the faeries slim legs over his shoulders.

"What a terrible fate, but I will endure it,"

"That you will," Hodge smirked before sharing a deep kiss with his faerie.

Hodge opened his eyes when the early morning light from the sun sneaked in through a gap in the curtains. He smiled as he looked down to see Ragamuffin's head on his chest, as always he was the first one awake between the two of them though he could hear movement in the palace. He smirked as he heard Rosfey outside telling someone to go and feed the prisoners, he knew the only prisoners they had were the humans. It wasn't common for the town to arrest people.

The last one was some dwarf that had gotten drunk and had started fighting but it was only until he sobered up then he was told to go back to mountains and not to return and try to trade here again. Hodge shook his head at that thinking silly dwarf before gently moving Ragamuffin off him so he could get up.

"Is it morning already?" The faerie moaned rolling over.

"Don't tell me you're still exhausted from last night,"

"Well that's your fault,"

"You wasn't complaining at the time, in fact I remember you asked for more,"

"Shut up Hodge," Ragamuffin laughed hitting his husband with a pillow getting a smirk from the tall elfin warrior. "What are you going to do with the humans by the way?"

"Depends, if I find out they were here hunting for slaves they will find out why I'm called the assassin prince like that hunting party we came across last year,"

Ragamuffin nodded at this. When Hodge had seen the human men trying to take the elf girl it wasn't a pretty sight. Hodge being properly angry was a terrifying sight, and dare he say it brought out a sadistic streak in his husband, not that those humans didn't deserve it. Those humans would have probably have taken that pretty elf girl and would have made her work in a brothel. A fate Ragamuffin wouldn't wish on anyone.

"I think Celestine was attacked but there's something they aren't telling us, at least the Prince isn't telling us something, he's a rat that one is,"

"He's a rat indeed, and Celestine is a cesspit of the worst humans, it's worst then a goblin nest,"
